6 injured in major Ridgewood fire, officials vacate 4 buildings on the block

Umm... this just keeps getting weirder πŸ€”. First, a massive fire breaks out in Queens, but amazingly no one gets killed? That's not normal, fam πŸ˜’. And now they're saying it "irrevocably changes" the lives of many New Yorkers? Sounds like an excuse to me πŸ€‘. I mean, what if this was more than just a coincidence? What if it was a distraction from something bigger? Like, maybe someone was hiding incriminating evidence in that building and it got destroyed? 🀯

And have you seen the pics of the fire? It looks like it went up super fast πŸ”₯. I'm not saying it's a controlled burn or anything πŸ˜…, but wouldn't it be weird if the fire department showed up way too quickly? Like, what were they expecting to happen before 3:30 a.m.? πŸ•°οΈ

omg thats so scary 🀯😱 can u imagine waking up 2 a fire in ur building?? 😩 luckily everyone made it out alive but seriously what r they gonna do 2 rebuild that place?! πŸ’ΈπŸ’ and poor ppl who lost their homes n stuff πŸ€•

πŸ€•πŸ’” Oh my gosh, that's so scary!! I'm just glad no one was killed, five people were hurt, that's still a lot though 😷. The firefighters and emergency responders did an amazing job containing the fire and keeping everyone safe πŸ™Œ. It's a miracle the roof didn't collapse sooner, can you imagine? 😱 And it's awesome to see all these organizations coming together to help those affected 🀝. Let's hope everyone gets back on their feet soon πŸ’ͺ.

I'm still getting used to these new-fangled fire alarms they got nowadays πŸ˜’... remember when we had to rely on just a bucket of sand and some old-fashioned elbow grease to put out fires? Anyway, it's good that no one was killed in this Ridgewood blaze πŸ™. I mean, can you imagine if there were fatalities? It'd be all over the news like wildfire πŸ’₯. But, seriously, it's heartbreaking to think about those 4 buildings getting evacuated and people losing their homes... reminds me of when I used to live in Brooklyn and had to deal with those crazy rent hikes 🀯. Anyways, gotta give a shoutout to our brave firefighters who risked life and limb to save everyone πŸ’ͺ... just like back in the day when they'd rush into burning buildings without all that fancy gear πŸ‘•. And I'm glad the American Red Cross is on scene providing support... reminds me of my grandma's soup kitchen back in the day 🍲, where everyone would come together to help those in need ❀️.

man that's crazy 🀯 a 5-alarm fire in queens is never good news especially when it affects so many people & buildings the fact that no one was killed but 6 injured is still pretty grim, i guess at least everyone made it out alive. the city is doing its best to support the displaced residents with shelter, clothes, and resources like the american red cross & mta buses 🚌

but what really gets me is how fast the fire spread considering there were over 270 firefighters on scene. was the building just too old or poorly maintained? i'm all for vigilance but accidents can happen to anyone πŸ€¦β€β™‚οΈ it's just a miracle that the roof didn't collapse sooner.

anyway, my thoughts are with those affected by the blaze and the emergency responders who risked their lives to save others πŸ’•
