Three recent high school graduates accused of sexually assaulting a classmate at a party in Roselle now face additional serious charges. Kevin Niemiec, Jon Clary II, and Zachary Mascolo are charged with not only sex crimes but also kidnapping and unlawful restraint.
Niemiec was arraigned Monday, pleaded "not guilty", and is currently being held in jail. His next court date is set for February 9th. In contrast, Clary and Mascolo are scheduled to appear in court on January 27th. The two have been released on pretrial bail.
The allegations claim that the men confined an 18-year-old woman against her will and prevented her from leaving a minivan where the assaults were said to take place. These charges further complicate the case, highlighting a pattern of severe misconduct by the accused.

these guys are low life... i cant even imagine being in that situation with those 3 monsters around u. kidnapping and unlawful restraint? how can someone even do this to another human being? they need to rot in jail forever 
I'm not surprised though, parties can get outta hand so easy. It's like people lose track of their actions and think no one's watching 
But seriously, three years in jail for kidnapping and unlawful restraint on top of the sex crimes? That's a long time to be locked up for a night of stupid partying 
I feel bad for the victim, that must've been a traumatic experience for her 
And it's messed up that these guys are out on pretrial bail already 
What happened here is unacceptable and we need to make sure justice gets served 
this is just so messed up... i mean, i know they're all being charged with some major stuff but it's crazy how one party can go from just getting in trouble for sex crimes to full-on kidnapping and unlawful restraint charges 
. what's even more disturbing is that 2 out of the 3 guys are on pretrial bail already? like, shouldn't we be worried about their freedom to roam around while they're being tried? 
. Like, what's next? Are they gonna be accused of serving bad pizza at prom? Okay, okay, I know, this isn't funny... but think about it, these guys were just doing whatever they wanted to do with a girl, like it was their own personal playdate 
. And now they're facing some serious charges? That's what happens when you get caught playing hooky on party duty... I mean, not literally, but you know what I mean 
. Anyway, let's just say these guys are gonna have to face the music... and maybe even a few years of therapy

It's like, what's next? Kidnapping to a rave?! 
We need to be better as a society and teach our young men that this kind of behavior is never okay. 
. I guess that's just a reflection of our justice system being super flawed right now. But let's not forget, there are millions of awesome young people out there who are making a positive impact 
! We need to celebrate and support them more often.
. The fact that they were released on pretrial bail is just not right 
It's crazy how some people think they can get away with this kinda stuff 
... anyway, I'm so grateful there are still good ppl in the world supporting her and keeping an eye on these guys
