. I mean, it's always dope to see communities comin together like this & celebratin their own heritage. And the fact that theres gonna be a museum dedicated to Black History is gonna be super valuable for future generations to learn from. Plus, Ama Daetz sounds like an amazing person - gotta love someone who's passionate about makin wishes come true

I'm so down for this Black Legend Awards on Feb 21! It's like they're throwing it back to the old-school pioneers who paved the way for us now 
. I mean, can you imagine hearing their stories? My grandma used to tell me about how hard her folks worked in the '50s and '60s to build those first jobs and create opportunities 
. I'm definitely gonna try to catch the Make-A-Wish event too! What if I can even get a chance to meet Ama Daetz?

. Can't they just organize something that doesn't require me to log out of my favorite forum to find out about it? 
The Hammer Theatre Center is literally on the other side of town, can't they promote it better online? 
And what's with the focus on African American pioneers? It feels like the same old tokenism every time 
. I'm sure the Black History Museum will be a great addition to San Jose, but can we please get some more diverse representation around here?
