OMG it's so frustrating when something like this happens! I mean, you're just minding your own business on a bike ride, enjoying the views of Cal's campus... and then BAM! Some careless driver comes speeding along and it's game over . It's just not right that someone has to lose their life because they weren't wearing some fancy safety gear (hello, reflective vests, gloves, etc.) .

I'm so glad the driver stayed at the scene and cooperated with the police tho . That's super responsible of them. But seriously, what's going on in our city? Can't we get it together to prioritize bike safety?! I know there are plenty of safe routes around campus for cyclists, but sometimes you just gotta take your chances (spoiler alert: don't). It's like, what's the point of having all these bike lanes if people aren't gonna use them?!
