I think this whole thing is kinda reasonable
. I mean, we've all seen how social media can be toxic, especially for teenagers. They're still figuring out who they are and where they fit in, and the constant stream of curated content from others can be super damaging to their self-esteem. Adding likes and followers to that mix just makes it worse
. So yeah, I get why Denmark would want to limit kids' access to social media until they're old enough to use it responsibly.
But at the same time, I'm worried about how this might affect teenagers who are already super tech-savvy
. They'll probably just find ways around the rules or move to other platforms that aren't monitored as closely. It's like trying to hold back a tide with a broken dam
. Still, I think it's better to err on the side of caution and try to protect kids from online harm. We can always work on education and digital literacy later
.
