"Don't say his name": Noem lashes out at anchor for "doxxing" ICE agent

OMG, I'm so glad we have people like Kristi Noem speaking up . I mean, it's not easy to deal with situations like this, but she's trying to protect her team and the agents who are out there doing their job . I get why Margaret Brennan was trying to ask tough questions, but at the same time, I think Kristi handled it really well . It's all about finding that balance between being transparent and not putting people in harm's way . And let's be real, we don't always know all the facts before jumping to conclusions . ICE agents put their lives on the line every day, and I think it's time we start showing some appreciation for what they do . It's always easier to focus on the bad stuff, but I'm choosing to see the positives here . Maybe this is an opportunity for us to come together and support our law enforcement?

so i'm thinking what's up with Kristi Noem scolding Margaret Brennan on Face the Nation? it seems kinda petty to me . I mean, isn't the whole point of having a debate show like that to have tough conversations and get to the bottom of things?

but seriously, if there's a story about an ICE agent involved in a fatal shooting, shouldn't we be talking about it? doesn't seem right to me that Kristi is trying to silence Margaret from asking questions. I'm all for respect and civility in public discourse, but not at the expense of journalism .

it's also worth noting that ICE has been a super contentious issue in recent years, with people on both sides of the aisle having strong opinions about it . so if we're gonna talk about it, let's do it with some nuance and understanding . maybe Kristi could've taken this opportunity to have a more thoughtful conversation instead of trying to shut down Margaret .
