Eagles by the numbers: Reasons to both pass more – or just keeping running – against the Lions

I'm loving this recent game of Monday Night Football but the thing is, the Eagles' 7-2 record has me all over the place. On one hand, I'm like wow, Jalen Hurts is a beast and Saquon Barkley is straight fire but on the other hand, their offense feels super inconsistent . I mean, we get it, they win games against weaker opponents, but what about when they face top-tier teams? It's like, are they just getting lucky or do they actually have something special brewing?

And don't even get me started on their 3-and-out rate - 8-8 is just too high. I need to see more of those third-down conversions and Hurts taking some more bold shots downfield . The Eagles' offense feels like an anomaly, you know? Like, they're not really showing us what they're capable of yet .

One thing's for sure though - Quinyon Mitchell is a total game-changer ! His versatility on both sides of the ball is so underrated. And let's be real, if they can get their third-down offense in check , I'm all about that Eagles Super Bowl contender life

I gotta say, the Eagles are lookin' pretty good this season but their recent games have been all about conserving yards. Jalen Hurts is throwin' those tight window passes like it's nobody business . I mean, 16.6% of those throws is crazy high, especially compared to other QBs in the league.

But at the same time, their offense feels kinda... safe? They're not takin' many risks and instead just tryin' to run out the clock. It's like they're playin' not to lose rather than playin' to win . And Saquon Barkley is killin' it when he gets the ball, but he's also gettin' inconsistent playing time.

I'm lovin' Quinyon Mitchell though - that corner can play both sides and his pass coverage skills are on point . But against teams like the Packers and Lions, the Eagles need to step up their game if they wanna be taken seriously as a Super Bowl contender .

man i'm so done with the eagles right now ...i mean dont get me wrong they're having a great season and all but it feels like every time they step onto the field its a miracle if they can even get 3 plays off without turning the ball over or scoring 10 points max .like jalen hurts is supposed to be some kinda savior for this team but honestly his play calling is so conservative it makes me wanna pull my hair out ...i mean saquon barkley is a beast on the field but why cant he get more reps when hes making plays like that?? and quinyon mitchell is all over the place sometimes

and let's not even get started on their record against stronger teams . 8-8 against the packers?? that's just embarrassing ...the lions are a different story but still if they can take down a team like them with ease then why cant they do it against actual top-tier opponents?? its time for this team to step up and prove themselves for real

i think people are putting way too much pressure on this eagles team they're having a good season but it's not like they're going to win the super bowl without taking some calculated risks jalen hurts is trying to conserve yards and not throw interceptions, which is smart, but it's also making their offense look kinda stale saquon barkley needs more playing time, for real tho quinyon mitchell is looking good, though!
