omg can you believe how lucky wigan athlatic was?? they literally got away with nothing!! brad potts' goal was so blatant offside but those linesmen are like super strict or something... i mean fair play to them though, they had to make that call. preseason form for wigan has been sketchy and i thought they were gonna get thrashed by preston. bettoni's goal was a beauty tho!
What a nail-biter of a match! Wigan Athletic really deserved that win, they were so dominant for most of the game. But you've got to give credit to Preston North End, they came out swinging in the second half and nearly snatched it away from them. I mean, Brad Potts' goal was a real heart-stopper... unfortunately for him . The linesman made a great call on that offside though, no need for extra time or a replay. That's what makes the FA Cup so exciting, you never know what's gonna happen. Wigan Athletic, on the other hand, have definitely given themselves a confidence boost going into the next round... they're really starting to look like a team to be reckoned with
I mean, what a game right? The tension at Deepdale Stadium must've been electric! I'm loving Wigan Athletic's chances of making it further in this FA Cup thing. Harrison Bettoni's goal was pure magic, and for Preston to come so close only makes their loss even more heartbreaking. You can't fault the linesman on that call though, gotta give him props for keeping his cool under pressure
oh man that match was insane!!! i feel so bad for preston they were literally begging for that equalizer at the end brad potts' goal would've been a heartbreak but thankfully the offside call went wigan's way bettoni's free kick was pure class too, i mean who scores from 25 yards out like that? anyways, congrats to wigan athletic on their win, they definitely deserved it
I mean, what's up with the offside rule these days?! That would've been such a heartbreaker for Preston if it counted... but glad Wigan got away with it . It's crazy how much pressure those teams are under in this FA Cup - one little mistake can make all the difference . And I gotta say, Harrison Bettoni's goal was pure magic ! That free kick from 25 yards out is just incredible... Wigan really deserved that win . Can't wait to see how far they take it in the competition!
What a nail-biter of a match ! I was on the edge of my seat when Harrison Bettoni scored that solo goal with 20 mins to go. The crowd at Deepdale must've been going wild . And what a relief for Wigan Athletic fans, that offside call in the dying minutes was spot on ️. Preston were unlucky not to get an equalizer, Brad Potts' strike just fell short . Still, a huge win for Latics and now they're one step closer to making some progress in the FA Cup .
