aww man this is super heartbreaking the thought of nearly half a breeding population of elephant seals being wiped out by bird flu is just devastating can't imagine how stressful it must be for the remaining ones to lose their loved ones and take care of their pups on their own... we really need to get more research done ASAP and find ways to stop this outbreak
