Florida Rep. Maxwell Frost says he was punched in the face at Sundance Film Festival party

This is so disturbing 🤕. I mean, who gets punched in the face at a party? It's like, what's wrong with people these days? The fact that someone got charged with hate crimes makes me wanna scream 😱... but also kinda glad that justice will be served.

I feel bad for Rep Frost, he's young and just trying to do his job. I'm sure it can't be easy dealing with all this drama 🤯. But at the same time, I get why people are getting upset - hate speech and violence have no place in our society. We need to find a way to calm down everyone and focus on unity instead of division 🤝.

I'm glad that festival officials are taking it seriously and House Minority Leader Hakeem Jeffries is speaking out too 👍... now we just gotta wait for the trial and see how this all plays out 🕰️.

can't believe this is happening in our "land of the free" 🤯😡 people have lost all sense of respect for others and it's getting out of hand... some guy gets drunk at a party and starts yelling racist stuff, who's next? 🤦‍♂️ shouldn't we be focusing on unity and love instead of hate and division? 🤝

OMG u guys I'm literally shook rn 🤯! Attacking rep Maxwell Frost at Sundance film fest party like what even is this? 🚫 I feel so bad for him, poor guy got punched in face and had to hear racist comments 😩. And can you believe the suspect was drunk and made those comments?! 🍻👊

I'm not surprised tho, hate crimes r getting outta control and ppl need 2 take responsibility 4 their actions 🤦‍♀️. I'm so glad security intervened and Frost is okay tho, that's the most important thing 💕. And rep Jeffries calling it "horrified" is like, totally fair 🙏.

I'm just worried about what's gonna happen next tho... is our country really that divided?! 🤔 It feels like we're living in a movie or something 🎥. Anywayz, let's all just stay safe and support each other 💗.

Man this is a huge wake-up call for us all... 🤕 I mean, who gets attacked at a party just because they're from the wrong side of the aisle? It's not just about Frost, it's about all of us being judged by our skin color or our views. We need to remember that everyone deserves respect, no matter what their background is. This guy was drunk and made some bad choices, but let's not forget he still has a life outside of that one moment. It's like, we're all human beings, we all deserve compassion and understanding. Can't we just try to see eye-to-eye without resorting to hate speech? 🤔
