Eagles' Win Over Packers a Mixed Bag, But Defense Stands Out

The interior defensive line, led by Jalen Carter, was equally impressive, with Carter having pressure all night and playing the run well. The linebackers were solid as well, with Baun and Dean standing out among their peers.
In terms of special teams, there was one notable blip on the radar: a boneheaded holding call on Brandon Graham that wiped out a great punt by Braden Mann. However, overall, the Eagles' coverage unit was excellent, with Mitchell making a big play on deep ball and Blankenship providing stability in the secondary.
As for the three stars of the game, Phillips gets the nod as an edge defender who fits right in with this defense like a glove. I mean they held it down all game long, even when their offense wasn't doing much. Nakobe Dean is a beast 
and that edge defender Jaelan Phillips is like a puzzle piece that fit perfectly into the team's defensive scheme. I love how their interior line was able to bring pressure without getting overwhelmed, it's like they had a master plan in place 
! Carter, Baun, and Dean all brought the heat and made some huge plays. I mean, 53 snaps from Jaelan Phillips alone is crazy, right? 
And Nakobe Dean's performance despite being injured earlier in the season is a testament to his dedication and work ethic 
. But at the same time, it's weird that their offense couldn't find any consistency 
. Still, win is a win and Eagles' defense got the job done

jalen hurts has been solid but he's not exactly lighting it up out there and that running game needs work tbh 60 yards for saquon? 
i'm not trying to hate or anything but will shipley's role is gonna be so important this season.
and let's not forget about DeVonta Smith, he's on another level this season. the only thing i'm worried about is the running game, but saquon barkley showed some flashes tonight. still gotta see more from that unit
