House Republicans release last-minute healthcare plan as expiration of Affordable Care Act subsidies looms - live

Ugh, great timing with this "plan" 🙄... Like they didn't have weeks to come up with something better than banding together and negotiating with PBMs? I mean, what's the plan here? Make healthcare even more complicated and expensive? 🤦‍♂️ Those 21.8 million enrollees are going to be stuck with whatever they can scrape together now. And good luck trying to navigate the "increased transparency" and "competition" in healthcare... like that's ever happened in the real world 💸. Can't wait to see how this all plays out, I'm sure it'll be a thrilling few weeks 😴

🤔 The thing about this plan is, I don't know if it's gonna make a difference in the end. They're trying to help small businesses and self-employed folks get cheaper health insurance, but what about the ones who can't afford it even with lower rates? 🤑 It sounds like they just want to reduce costs and stick it to PBMs, which is cool, but what about the people on the bottom line? 👥 And I'm not sure if this plan will really lead to more transparency and competition in the healthcare industry. It feels like a Band-Aid solution at best 🤕. We need some real solutions here, not just last-minute fixes to keep politicians happy 🙃

omg 21.8 million ppl r gonna get hit hard w/ premium hikes 🤯😱 i think the repubs r trying 2 fix something thats gone wrong, but i dont no if their plan is a bandaid solution 🤕 or a real fix. its all about who gets to decide what's affordable & whats not, u feel? 💸👥

I don't think this last-minute plan from House Republicans is gonna fly 🤔. I mean, can they really expect people to trust them with their health insurance now? The whole thing seems kinda rushed and I'm not sure it'll do enough to help the little guys who need it most 🚫. And what about the 21.8 million folks who are already on the hook because of those ACA subsidies? They're gonna be left high and dry if this plan doesn't get passed ASAP ⏰. I guess we'll just have to wait and see how this all plays out, but my gut's telling me it won't be pretty 😬.

🤔 you know what's wild? I just got my hands on a vintage camera from 1975 and it's totally blown my mind. the photos are so grainy, but there's something charming about them. reminds me of how much technology has changed since then 📸. anyway, back to healthcare... i think we need to focus on making healthcare more accessible, not just for small businesses but for everyone. what if we made community health centers a reality? would that make a difference 🤷‍♀️

omg u guys idk what's goin on w/ health care rn but i think house republicans are tryna fix the problem by lettin small businesses band together 2 get better rates 🤔💸 probs gonna be more expensive 4 those who cant afford it tho, idk lol how r they thinkin this is a good idea tho? they're talkin bout savin ppl money but i dont see the plan 🤑👀 wut's next?
