Local news and cultural programming on TV & radio are crucial for communities, especially rural ones, and now thats being taken away from them. Its not just about entertainment but also life saving info like emergency alerts.

I'm glad theres still outlets like The Guardian standing strong , its doing great work in exposing truth and misinformation. But we gotta support these orgs financially, they cant compete with private outlets that only care about profits. Even small donations can make a big difference . We need to keep pushing for independent journalism to thrive, its our best defense against fake news & propaganda .
