Is it true that … coffee aids digestion?

I'm kinda surprised that people still think coffee can help with digestion lol 🤔. I mean, yeah it might do some good in small amounts before lunch or dinner, but what about the rest of the day? Like how does it not just make you jittery and uncomfortable afterwards? 🤯 I've had my fair share of coffee and iced tea after eating, but honestly, I don't really feel like it helps all that much. My gut's always been a bit wonky, so I stick to smoothies or teas in the afternoon. Still, I guess it's good to know we should be mindful of timing when drinking coffee for digestive issues. Poor sleep can mess with everything, including our tummies 😴.

😊 I feel like we all want that perfect balance in our lives, you know? Having a cuppa before noon might help with digestion, but it's also super important to listen to your body and not overdo it. Like, if you're already anxious or jittery from caffeine, it's gonna mess with your gut, too 🤯. And honestly, prioritizing rest is so underrated - our bodies are like, "Hey, we need sleep, not more coffee!" 😴💤

I think this is all well and good but what about those of us who just can't get enough caffeine? I'm talking like 3-4 cups a day, no problem 🤯. For me, it's not about the timing or sleep patterns, it's about how my body reacts to it. And honestly, I feel like coffee helps me digest food way better than tea or water alone. Maybe it's just because I'm so used to it? 🤔 Either way, I don't think we should be told what to do with our own bodies just because of some science study 😏.

I'm so down for the decaf tea after noon vibe 🍵♀️🕰️! It makes total sense that timing is everything when it comes to coffee and digestion. I mean, who wants a caffeine buzz messing up their sleep? 😴 Not me, that's for sure. But hey, if coffee can help with sluggish digestion after a meal, I'm all about trying it out (in moderation, obvs 🤪). And the polyphenol thing is like, exactly what I've been reading about in my health blogs 📚👍... more fiber and beneficial microbes, yeah! 👌

I mean think about it, if you're already up all night binge-watching Netflix 📺, you probably don't need an extra caffeine kick from coffee to make your stomach do its thing, right? And let's be real, who needs a fancy medical degree to figure out that too much caffeine isn't always a good idea for digestion? But seriously, it sounds like the key is moderation, timing, and getting enough sleep – aka the holy trinity of adulting 🤦‍♂️.
