to block that auction! It's crazy to think about how many people would've been affected if those tenants had been kicked out without a fight 
. I mean, can you imagine being in their shoes? The power outage was already super traumatic, and then they're told they have to leave their home without their stuff

I'm loving the fact that tenant advocates are all about giving those vulnerable folks some breathing room
. We need more of this kind of advocacy in our society! And omg, can we talk about how shady it was for the owner to try to sell the building without even considering the tenants' rights?
