I was just thinking about that weird thing my niece said on her birthday party last weekend... she told me I should try that new ice cream flavor, like, what's up with that ? Anyway, back to this Federal Reserve thing... I dunno how they do it, but setting interest rates based on evidence and stuff sounds kinda cool. Reminds me of when I was in college and we had to choose a project for the econ class, felt like we were gonna change the world . But seriously, what's the point of all this drama if it's not gonna affect the average person's wallet?
omg u guys i'm literally stressed about this whole thing lisa cook is my fave and i cant even imagine her getting fired it's like what's next? the president thinks he can just tweet someone out of their job and no one will care? please no but seriously tho its crazy how they're trying to accuse her of mortgage fraud and not even having a hearing with her beforehand its like they're trying to set a bad precedent. i really hope justice amy coney barrett is on the right side of this it would be soooo wrong for cook to lose her job over something that happened years ago
what's going on with this whole thing? so like, the president wants to fire this governor but he's doing it kinda casually via social media posts? that doesn't seem super legit
i mean i get that the government is trying to make a point about keeping the fed independent and all that but shouldn't they be following proper protocol instead of just making accusations on the internet?
and what's with these allegations against cook? aren't we supposed to believe she committed mortgage fraud prior to taking office but her lawyer says that's not possible? how do we know who to trust in this situation?
the fact that the court is hearing about this and it's getting all skeptical just shows me that maybe there's more to it than meets the eye... what if trump's trying to set a precedent here or something?
