OMG, have you seen that new video from Elon Musk about Neuralink and brain implants? Apparently they're planning to start human trials soon, and it's already sounding super sketchy... What if something goes wrong? I mean, we've seen some crazy tech advancements in the past few years, but this one has me worried...
I gotta say, 70-degree FOV waveguides sound like science fiction . How do they not hurt your eyes? And what's with all the pincushion distortion? Sounds like some fancy tech that just ends up being gimmicky . I mean, who needs a wider field of view than 30 degrees when you're just gonna be scrolling through social media anyway ? Let's see how these things play out in real life before we start getting all excited about 'em .
Man I'm so over how slow CES is when it comes to innovation . It feels like they're just rehashing the same old things every year. Like who cares about more nits per watt or slightly wider FOV? These new waveguides sound dope, but I'd love to see some real competition out there before I get hyped . And what's up with Lumus partnering with Quanta and SCHOTT? Can't they just make their own components from now on? The lack of transparency around manufacturing processes is giving me life... NOT
