Masked government thugs snuffed out Alex Pretti's life in broad daylight | Moira Donegan

In a shocking display of brutality, a masked government thug brutally ended the life of Alex Pretti, an intensive care nurse at a VA hospital in Minneapolis. Pretti was attending to a bystander who had been pepper-sprayed by ICE agents when he was tackled to the ground and beaten to death.

Eyewitnesses describe the scene as chaotic, with ICE officers surrounding Pretti and forcing him to the ground despite his attempts to film them on camera. The video footage shows that Pretti was not violent or aggressive; instead, he was holding up his phone to record the agents' actions and trying to shield himself from pepper spray.

Pretti's last words, spoken to a woman who had been hurt by ICE agents, were "Are you OK?" His death has sparked outrage among community leaders and human rights activists, who argue that Pretti was simply exercising his constitutional right to observe government agents at work.

The Trump administration and its allies have sought to cast Pretti as a villain, with some officials describing him as a "domestic terrorist." However, this narrative is deeply problematic, as it ignores the fact that Pretti was simply trying to document the actions of ICE officers in broad daylight.

Pretti's death serves as a stark reminder of the dangers faced by ordinary citizens who dare to speak out against government overreach. As ICE continues its occupation of Minneapolis, residents are taking matters into their own hands, with many using whistles to alert others when agents arrive on the scene.

The administration's response to Pretti's killing has been predictably dismissive and Orwellian, with officials claiming that he was attacking the agents and ignoring video evidence to the contrary. This kind of doublespeak is eerily reminiscent of totalitarian regimes, where dissenters are swiftly silenced or eliminated.

As the investigation into Pretti's death unfolds, it is clear that accountability will be key to restoring a sense of justice and stability in America. Any path forward must involve investigations, prosecutions, and tribunals to assess and punish those responsible for these actions.

In the face of such brutality, the question on everyone's mind is: what forgiveness can there be? As one poet so eloquently put it, "After such knowledge, what forgiveness?" The answer, in this case, is clear: none.

can't believe this is happening in america, a country supposed to value freedom & human rights. ICE agents are literally killing people for doing nothing but documenting them. pretti was just trying to film the police (not even police, but ICE!) and now he's dead 🤯👊 this administration has no shame. they're trying to spin Pretti as a "domestic terrorist" which is a complete load of BS. it's like they think we're all gonna forget what happened or something 🙄. the fact that they're claiming Pretti was attacking the agents when there's video proof showing otherwise... wow, just wow 😒

🤯 this is just crazy! i mean who does that to some innocent nurse trying to do his job? 🙅‍♂️ the fact that he was just filming them on camera and asking if someone else was okay should've been enough to de-escalate the situation, not lead to a fatal beatdown. 💔 ICE agents need to be held accountable for their actions and if they're so scared of being filmed, maybe they shouldn't be working in public spaces 🤷‍♂️.

this is just horrific, how can we even begin to wrap our heads around someone being brutally beaten and killed for trying to document the actions of government agents? 🤯😱 it's like they're trying to silence anyone who dares to speak out against them. as a nurse myself, i'm still in shock thinking about alex pretti's last words - "are you ok?" - that's all he was doing, just trying to check on someone in distress, and look what happened to him 🤕💔

This whole thing is just... ugh 🤕. I mean, think about it, a guy's just trying to do his job and document some government agents doing their thing, and he ends up getting brutally murdered? It's like, what's the world coming to? We're supposed to be living in a country where we can exercise our rights without fear of reprisal or violence... but instead, it feels like that's just not the case anymore.

And don't even get me started on how they're trying to spin this whole thing. "Domestic terrorist"? Are you kidding me? That's just a way of silencing dissent and controlling people who are speaking out against abuse of power. It's like, we should be having a national conversation about what it means to be an American, not just regurgitating propaganda to make ourselves feel better.

I guess the bigger question is: how do we even begin to move forward from this kind of violence? I think accountability is key, but it's also got to be part of a larger conversation about systemic change and reform. We need to be having discussions about police brutality, immigration policy, and government overreach... and we need to be willing to listen to each other and consider different perspectives.

It's all just so sad, you know? 🤕 I was really hoping for more progress on these issues before something like this happened... now, I'm not even sure if we'll ever get there.

the whole thing is just so messed up 🤯 like what even is happening in this country anymore?ICE agents just roaming around causing chaos and then they have the nerve to call someone a domestic terrorist for trying to document their actions? it's not right 🙅‍♂️ Pretti was just doing his job, taking care of people who needed help, and these cops came along and took him out. that's not okay 😢

I'm still trying to wrap my head around this entire thing 🤯... I mean, who does that?! An ICU nurse just doing his job and getting killed by a government thug for filming them? It's just not right. The fact that they're trying to spin Pretti as some kind of "domestic terrorist" is so out of touch with reality. He was literally holding up his phone to record what was happening! And those ICE agents are the ones who were being super aggressive and pepper-spraying people in broad daylight? They need to be held accountable for their actions, not made out to be victims.

It's crazy how some politicians would try to silence dissenters like this. It's like they're trying to create a culture of fear where nobody dares to speak up against government overreach. That's just not okay. The fact that residents are taking matters into their own hands with whistles and all is actually kinda inspiring? They're showing that even in the face of oppression, there's still room for resistance.

But yeah, forgiveness doesn't seem like an option here 😔... I mean, how can you forgive someone who just killed another human being for doing their job? We need to make sure those responsible get held accountable and that justice is served.
