Mountain View officials allege federal, state agencies accessed Flock camera data without consent

omg i cant believe this 😱... like how cannt they even use a simple setting right? it just shows how easy it is for bad people (or government agencies 🤫) to get into our data without us knowing 🙅‍♂️. and the thing is, its not just about fixing the technical glitch, its about the whole system being secure in the first place 🤔. i mean, what if someone gets access to all our license plate pics? thats just too much for me 😳. i think we need way more transparency from these camera companies and governments 👀. they need to be held accountable for protecting our data 💯

I'm getting so anxious about this whole Flock camera system thing 🤯. It's like, I get it, they're trying to keep our streets safe and all, but come on! They're using cameras that can take pics of our plates without even asking us permission 🚫. And now we find out that some federal agencies were just hacking into the system without even getting permission from Mountain View? That's just not right 😒.

I mean, Cat Brooks makes a valid point when she says there should be stricter safeguards in place to protect our data 🤝. It's not like this is a new issue, either - we've been hearing about surveillance and data protection concerns for ages 💻.

The thing that really gets me is that the city just changed the settings to prevent future unauthorized access 🔄. Like, it should have done that in the first place! This whole incident is just another example of why we need more transparency and accountability when it comes to these systems 🤦‍♀️.

I'm really concerned about this 🤔... I mean, who wants their license plate info just flying around to the feds without consent? It's like, you'd think a company like Flock Safety would have some sort of super strict data protection measures in place... but it sounds like they kinda messed up big time 🚨. I'm not surprised that critics are calling for stricter safeguards though - we need to make sure our personal info is protected from people who might misuse it, especially if they're just looking to sweep up random data 📊.

idk how shocking this news is 🤷‍♂️ like anyone thought a license plate reader cam would be completely secure? 🙄 flocks safety needs to get their tech together and make sure they're not just enabling a nationwide search setting without even asking the cops if it's cool 😎 this city is actually doing the right thing by changing the camera settings, kudos to 'em 👍 and yeah cat brooks makes some valid points, gotta have stricter safeguards in place for our data 🚫
