i mean who thought this was a good idea in the first place? publishing people's names and pics online for doing some community service? that's just going to scare off people from taking part

I gotta say, this decision is a bit of a bummer. I was hoping it would've taken some real teeth outta people who commit crimes and didn't wanna put in their time. Now, with no names or pics being shown, I don't think it'll have as much of an impact. 
What's the point of shaming someone when they're just gonna hide their face anyway? 
And I can understand why the unions were worried about all that - innocent families shouldn't be caught in the crossfire.
