NFC Hierarchy/Obituary: Week 11 edition

NFC Hierarchy Takes Hit as Falcons Sinking Fast

The NFC hierarchy took another hit this week, as the Atlanta Falcons, once again, failed to capitalize on their potential and are now staring into the abyss of another mediocre season. With a 3-6 record, the Falcons have become synonymous with disappointment and inconsistency.

One would think that after a string of mediocre seasons, the Falcons' front office would be more cautious in making trades. However, they've done just the opposite. In a shocking move, they traded away valuable draft picks to secure a player who has been underwhelming all season. James Pearce, acquired for the 26th overall pick, has only managed to record nine tackles and 1.5 sacks.

The Falcons' woes are nothing new, with their last winning season dating back to 2017. The franchise's inability to stay above water is a testament to poor decision-making by the front office, which has become notorious for being overly optimistic about their roster's capabilities.

With the top four teams in the NFC – Rams, Seahawks, Eagles, and Lions – dominating play, it's only a matter of time before they make some significant moves to separate themselves from the pack. The 49ers, who have been quietly impressive despite injuries, are another team to watch, as they aim to prove their doubters wrong.

As for the Falcons, they're running out of time to turn things around. Their next move will be crucial in determining whether they can salvage some semblance of respectability or continue down the road of mediocrity. Until then, it's hard to see them doing much better than their current 3-6 record.

Hierarchy Update: NFC

🤔 they're just throwing away picks left and right like it's going out of style... i mean, what's the point of even having a good draft if u can just give up on it? 🤑 should've stuck with what works, not overpay for some player who ain't doin nothin' 🤦‍♂️

I'm so confused about the Falcons' front office. They're like, "Hey, we need to make a big trade to get better!" And then they go and trade away their future draft picks for some guy who's not even doing great this season 🤦‍♂️. It's like, what were they thinking?! I mean, the 49ers are over here quietly winning games and people are like "oh yeah, we forgot about them!" Meanwhile, the Falcons are just stuck in mediocrity 😐.

I don't get it. They've been saying the same thing for years - "we need to make a big move to get back to the top" 🤔. But they never seem to do it. And now, with their 3-6 record, I'm just not seeing how they can turn things around 💔. It's gonna be interesting to see what happens next!

🤦‍♂️ Oh great, the Falcons are going down fast... again. Who's next? 🤷‍♂️ Their front office is like a joke – all hype and no substance. Trading away valuable draft picks for someone who's been underwhelming all season is just laughable. And don't even get me started on their lack of consistency. I mean, who expected them to be any better this year? 😴 The NFC hierarchy is getting more and more stacked with the 49ers looking like dark horses (pun intended) 🐈

🤦‍♂️ the falcons are like a never-ending joke 😂 they're always making moves that make no sense and it's just gonna be one of those seasons for them...i mean what's wrong with their front office? 🤑 they've got the talent but clearly don't know how to use it 🤯 i'm starting to think they should just sell the team or something 😂

omg the falcons are literally sinking fast 🤯 i mean they had a chance to make some moves and get some decent talent but instead they just gave away draft picks 🤦‍♂️ it's like they're intentionally trying to tank. and jamey pearce is not even worth 26th overall pick 🙄 the falcons need to seriously rethink their front office strategy or else they'll be stuck in mediocrity forever 💔

I don’t usually comment but I gotta say, the Falcons are like a train wreck that you can't look away from 🚨. They're just so inconsistent and it's hard to see them making any significant moves to change their fortunes. The fact that they traded away valuable draft picks for James Pearce, who's been underwhelming all season, is just mind-boggling 😂. I think the NFC hierarchy is going to be pretty tight this year, with the top 4 teams dominating play and the rest of us trying to scramble to keep up 🏈. The 49ers are definitely a team to watch, though - they're quietly impressive despite all the injuries and I love their underdog story 💪. But for the Falcons, it's hard to see them doing much better than their current record... until they make some changes, that is 😐.

Ugh, can't believe the Falcons are sinking this fast 🤦‍♂️! They're basically trading away their future for some random player who's not even doing that great. I mean, what's wrong with them? 😩 The front office needs to get its act together and stop making these reckless trades. And honestly, it's a shame because they had potential, but now it seems like all hope is lost 🤕 The NFC hierarchy is getting more and more stacked, and the Falcons are just stuck in neutral. Not impressed with their management at all 😒
