like how does a 3 yr old even know how to handle a gun?? shouldnt they be playing with toys not firearms?! and whats with the holster thingy, didnt they make sure it was secure? 
but seriously, this is a major wake up call for gun safety everywhere. parents gotta be more careful and responsible, no exceptions 
what if that had been a different outcome, who knows? just glad nobody else got hurt

I know some of you might be thinking "oh, it was just an accident" but let me tell you, accidents can happen and that doesn't make them any less concerning. We need stricter gun laws in place, especially around young kids. It's not rocket science to understand that firearms are not toys! And what about the deputy's mom being home during this incident? Wasn't she keeping a close eye on her little nephew? You'd think that would've prevented this from happening in the first place...
