Rabbit’s Next AI Gadget Is a ‘Cyberdeck’ for Vibe Coding

Rabbit's Latest AI Gadget Takes a Different Approach with Cyberdeck Project

In the ever-evolving landscape of AI gadgets, Rabbit is taking another stab at creating something innovative. Following the mixed reception of its handheld AI device, R1, the company is now focusing on a new project called Cyberdeck – a "dedicated vibe-coding machine" that promises to change the way developers work.

Cyberdeck appears to be a small, clamshell-style device with a built-in keyboard and a "really great screen." The machine's purpose is centered around AI-powered coding, allowing users to tap into native AI agents and tools like Claude Code. What sets Cyberdeck apart from existing AI gadgets, however, is its emphasis on user interaction through the keyboard.

However, the details about Cyberdeck are still scarce, with Rabbit describing it as a work-in-progress. The company's thread on X hints at an exploration of a portable cyberdeck, but some have raised questions about the necessity of a dedicated device for vibe coding, which can often be done using cloud-based prompts and AI-powered tools.

Rabbit's latest endeavor is a departure from its previous attempts to create an engaging product. The R1 failed to gain traction in terms of sales and user reception, and the company has been facing internal challenges, including employee strikes over unpaid wages last November.

Before diving headfirst into new product development, it would be wise for Rabbit to address these issues. A strong foundation for its products and employees is essential for creating innovative AI gadgets that resonate with users.

I'm thinkin' Rabbit's new Cyberdeck project is gonna be a game-changer, fam 🤖💻! I mean, who wouldn't want a device that makes coding a breeze? The fact that it's all about user interaction and vibes (haha, get it?) with the keyboard is super cool. But for real, I gotta ask, why not just use cloud-based tools and AI-powered prompts instead of a dedicated cyberdeck? 🤔 I'm curious to see how Rabbit plans to address the issues they had with R1 and make sure their employees are all good 🤑💸. Maybe this Cyberdeck thing is gonna be that boost they need to get back on track 💪!

Rabbit needs to fix their house before they try to innovate again 🏠💻 The employee strikes and unpaid wages thingy is a major red flag, you can't expect innovation when people aren't happy about how the company's being run 🤑

I think Rabbit needs to focus on getting their ducks in a row before they dive back into product development 🤔. The R1 didn't exactly break the internet, and now they're throwing another device at the wall to see what sticks... Cyberdeck sounds interesting, but is it really necessary for vibe coding? Can't we just use cloud-based tools and AI-powered prompts on our laptops or desktops already? 💻 And let's not forget about those employee strikes - Rabbit needs to sort out their internal issues before they can expect users to get excited about another new gadget. It's all about building a strong foundation, you know?

omg, i'm intrigued by rabbit's cyberdeck project 🤖💻! the idea of a dedicated vibe-coding machine is kinda cool 🎨, but at the same time, isn't it redundant to have another device when cloud-based prompts and AI-powered tools are already available? 🤔 idk if i'd want to carry around an extra gadget, especially considering the issues rabbit's faced with its previous product #R1 Fail 🚮.

anywayz, i think what rabbit needs is a solid plan for employee satisfaction and wage transparency 🤑. their employees deserve better, and it's gotta be on rabbit's priority list before they start pushing out new products #FairnessForAll 💼.

I'm kinda low-key hyped about this Cyberdeck thing 🤖💻! I mean, think about it - a device that lets devs interact with AI-powered coding tools through the keyboard? That's like, totally revolutionary 💥! And, hey, if it's a work-in-progress, maybe Rabbit's just trying to iron out some of the kinks from their last project (R1). Employees might've had some legit concerns about unpaid wages, but I'm sure that's all sorted now 🤞. Maybe Cyberdeck can be like, the next big thing in coding? Who knows, right?

Omg u guys i'm like super confused about this Cyberdeck thing from rabbit 🤔👀 they're trying to make a dedicated vibe-coding machine but can't even figure out how to fix their own company lol 😂 like remember when there was an employee strike last nov and it was all over the news? 📰 that's kinda worrying for me they're not exactly known for being stable and now they're like "oh yeah we got this new AI gadget" 🚀 without even ironing out some of their internal issues first. i mean what if it just flops again? 😬

idk why rabbit thinks they can just release a new gadget w/o addressing the issues they had w/ r1... employee strikes? unpaid wages? that's not something you can just "work through" while releasing a new product 🤦‍♂️ and now they're trying to push a vibe-coding machine like it's no big deal? cyberdeck sounds cool i guess, but first, rabbit needs to sort out their own problems... gotta put the company before the product, you know? 👎

idk about rabbit's cyberdeck thingy 🤔, seems like they're trying too hard to be different. vibe coding can def be done online lol what's the point of having a separate device? plus, ain't those cloud-based prompts and ai tools kinda on the same level as native agents? shouldn't they focus on making the user experience better instead of just creating another gadget 🚫

I gotta say I'm super stoked about Cyberdeck 🤩! It's great to see Rabbit taking a different approach with vibe coding, it feels like they're really listening to the devs community. The clamshell design sounds so cool and I love how they emphasized user interaction through the keyboard - it's all about making coding more accessible and fun! 👍

IM HOPE RABBIT COALLECTIVELY WORKS OUT THOSE EMPLOYEE ISSUES BEFORE UNDERTAKING ANY BIG PROJECTS LIKE CYBERDECK! IT SMELLS LIKE THEY R TRYNA DIVE HEADFIRST INTO NEW PRODUCT DEVELOPMENT WITHOUT GETTING THEIR HOUSE IN ORDER. AS MUCH AS I LOVE VIBE CODING, IT AIN'T WORTH RUINING THE COMPANY'S REP FOR.
