Sen. Bill Cassidy says he's working with White House on plan to cut health insurance costs

Republican Senator Bill Cassidy, chairman of the Senate Health Committee, revealed during an appearance on "Face the Nation with Margaret Brennan" that he is in close coordination with the White House regarding a proposal aimed at reducing health insurance costs. This development comes ahead of a critical Senate vote on Affordable Care Act tax credits, which Republicans had previously vowed to achieve.

Cassidy expressed his commitment to working collaboratively with the administration on this issue, emphasizing his "absolute communication" with the White House on the plan's progress. The move is seen as a significant step in addressing concerns over rising healthcare costs and the need for reform.

I'm not sure if I should be excited or disappointed about Cassidy teaming up with the White House... 🤔. On one hand, it's nice to see some bipartisan action on healthcare reform – we've been waiting for a while now. But at the same time, this feels like more of the same old Washington politics: compromise and give-and-take to avoid real change. I mean, what's the end game here? Are they just trying to tick boxes or is there actually some substance to this proposal?

I'm also wondering if this means we'll see any real reforms or just a watered-down version of the original plan. The White House and Cassidy seem to be on the same page, but that doesn't necessarily mean it's going to translate into something good for the average person. Fingers crossed they actually deliver, but I'm skeptical... 🤞

Just saw that Sen Bill Cassidy is workin with the WH on reducin health ins cost 🤑. Like, about time, right? Been hearin people talk about how expensive med care is and nobody's doin anythin about it. So far so good that he's in close coordination w/ the White House... let's see where this goes 💪🏽💼

🤔 just saw that Bill Cassidy is teaming up with the White House to reduce health insurance costs - seems like a good idea to me 🙌, especially since ACA tax credits are about to come up for a vote. I'm curious to see how this will play out in the Senate, but it's nice to hear they're working together 👍. The rising healthcare costs thing is definitely a pressing issue that needs addressing 💸. Hope they can make some real progress on this 😊.

So now Cassidy is talking to the White House about lowering health insurance costs 🤔... it sounds like he wants to fix things, but we'll have to see how this all plays out. I'm not sure if it's a good idea to work with the White House on something that could potentially affect so many people, but at the same time, I get why he'd want to try and make a difference. It's always complicated when politicians try to work with each other, especially when there are different ideas about how to fix things 🤷‍♀️.

omg, this is like super good news 🤩! finally, some bipartisan action in congress... i mean, who doesn't want to save ppl money on health insurance? Cassidy seems pretty committed to working together with the White House, which is awesome 💯. it's all about finding that sweet spot where everyone agrees. I'm hyped for this proposal, and i hope it comes to fruition soon 🕒️. let's get some real reform happening in healthcare! 👍
