Six England players join three from Spain in Fifpro women's World XI

England's women have made a name for themselves in the football world once again. Six of their talented players have been named to the Fifpro Women's World XI, following England's historic victory over Spain at this year's European Championship.

The selection features none other than captain Leah Williamson, goalkeeper Hannah Hampton, defenders Lucy Bronze and Chloe Kelly, and forwards Alessia Russo. But what might surprise fans is that only one of these players - Lucy Bronze - has made the list every year since its inception. The 34-year-old defender from England has achieved a remarkable feat, as she broke Wendie Renard's record for most World XI selections.

The other players on this prestigious team are Barbra Banda and Ghizlane Chebbak of Zambia and Morocco, respectively, and Spain's Ona Batlle, Aitana Bonmatรญ, and Alexia Putellas. The selection is the result of a vote by over 6,000 footballers worldwide.

Interestingly, none of England's team members from this year's European Championship tournament will be part of the World XI. Instead, players like Millie Bright and Chloe Kelly have been selected due to their past achievements with the national team. Bright had retired before the tournament took place but has now decided to hang up her boots.

The Fifpro Women's World XI is seen as a benchmark of excellence in women's football, showcasing some of the best talents from around the globe.

aww, this is such amazing news!!! ๐Ÿคฉ England's ladies are absolutely killing it on the pitch right now! I mean, six players making it to the Fifpro Women's World XI is just incredible... I can imagine how proud their families and friends must be of them ๐Ÿ’•. And Lucy Bronze breaking that record? Mind blown! She's such an inspiration to other female footballers everywhere ๐ŸŒŸ. It's also awesome that we get to see some new names on the list, like Alessia Russo and Chloe Kelly... I love seeing talented players shine! ๐Ÿ˜

I'm loving this, England's got game ๐Ÿ’ช! It's amazing to see their talented players being recognized globally, especially with captain Leah Williamson leading the charge ๐Ÿ™Œ. But what I find really cool is how Lucy Bronze broke that record - she's like a football legend in the making ๐Ÿคฉ. And on a more serious note, it's incredible that players like Millie Bright and Chloe Kelly are still getting the recognition they deserve, even after stepping away from the game ๐Ÿ™. It just goes to show that their skills aren't limited to one tournament or season - they've left an indelible mark on the sport ๐Ÿ’ซ. The Fifpro Women's World XI is truly a testament to the strength and depth of women's football worldwide โšฝ๏ธ.

๐Ÿค” The English players' selection is no surprise considering their impressive performances throughout the tournament ๐Ÿ†. I do find it fascinating that Lucy Bronze has consistently broken records since the inception of this prestigious team - a testament to her unwavering dedication and skill on the pitch ๐Ÿ’ช. The fact that none of England's current European Championship team members made the cut highlights the importance of past achievements in determining one's place among the best ๐Ÿ“Š. It also underscores the significance of international recognition, as it can often serve as a catalyst for future success ๐Ÿ”ฅ. Overall, this selection serves as a great example of the high standards set by the Fifpro Women's World XI and the caliber of talent on display in women's football ๐ŸŒŸ.

๐Ÿคฏ England's women have absolutely smashed it with this Fifpro Women's World XI selection!!! I mean, can you believe that Lucy Bronze has been on every single list since its inception?? She's a total legend and I'm so proud to see her breaking records left and right! ๐Ÿ’ช But what really gets me is how none of the England players from this year's Euros made it - I get why they chose Bright and Kelly, but still it's crazy that none of them got the nod ๐Ÿคทโ€โ™€๏ธ. And can we talk about how amazing it is to see some of these talented women getting recognized worldwide?? It's not just about the football anymore, it's about the power and impact these women are having off the pitch too ๐Ÿ’โ€โ™€๏ธ. Overall, I'm over the moon for English women's football and can't wait to see what they do next โšฝ๏ธ!

I'm surprised they didn't just pick the entire England squad ๐Ÿค”. I mean, they won the Euro Championship and all. But no, it seems like they're going for quality over quantity. Lucy Bronze is still on fire though! That record is no joke. And cool that players like Bright and Kelly got picked based on their past achievements, even if they didn't participate in this year's tournament. The Fifpro Women's World XI is defo the one to beat...

omg I'm beyond proud of those england ladies!!! they totally deserve it ๐Ÿ’–๐Ÿ’ช Lucy Bronze is literally a legend ๐Ÿ™Œ breaking that record and all! and to see players like Millie Bright and Chloe Kelly on the list even though they didn't play in this year's tournament says so much about their dedication to the game ๐Ÿ™ #TeamEngland #FIFPROWomensWorldXI

๐Ÿค” I'm not really sure what the big deal is about this Fifpro Women's World XI thingy. It's like, they got these super talented players from all over the world and picked a bunch of them to be part of this team... sounds pretty normal, right? ๐Ÿ™ƒ But I guess it's cool that Lucy Bronze broke some record or whatever, she seems like an awesome player! ๐Ÿ’ช What I don't get is why none of the English players from the European Championship tournament made it in. Like, you'd think they were close to being the best, right? ๐Ÿ˜•

OMG u guys can we talk about how talented these players r?? Leah Williamson & Hannah Hampton are literally goalskeepers for England & they're both on this elite team ๐Ÿ’ช๐Ÿฝ! I'm so hyped that Lucy Bronze is breaking records left & right, she's an inspiration to us all ๐Ÿ™Œ. And I love that the Fifpro Women's World XI showcases the best players from around the world, it's like a global celebration of women's football ๐ŸŽ‰. Millie Bright might be retired but her legacy lives on thru this team ๐Ÿ’•. Aitana Bonmatรญ & Alexia Putellas are also total boss babes ๐Ÿ˜! Can't wait to see what these talented ladies do next ๐Ÿคฉ

England's squad is getting old ๐Ÿ™„, I mean, in a good way ๐Ÿ˜‰. It's awesome that they've got such talented players making it to the Fifpro Women's World XI! Leah Williamson's been leading by example, as always ๐Ÿ’ช. And Lucy Bronze's record is insane - 6 years straight? That's dedication & skill for ya ๐Ÿ™Œ.

I gotta give it up for Lucy Bronze ๐Ÿ™Œ she's on fire! 34 and still dominating the pitch like a pro. It's crazy to think about how rare that is - only one player making the World XI every year since its start. She's definitely an inspiration to young players everywhere. I'm also loving the diversity on this team - Zambia, Morocco, Spain... it just goes to show how global women's football has become ๐ŸŒŽ

omg I'm so stoked for Lucy Bronze!!! breaking Wendie Renard's record is no joke ๐Ÿ’ฏ๐Ÿ† she's been a rockstar on the pitch and her consistency is what makes this achievement even more impressive ๐Ÿ™Œ 6,000 votes say it all! anyone else thinking about Millie Bright though? I mean we know she retired before the tournament but to be selected now after that break is like a big deal ๐Ÿ˜Š

England's women are killing it on the pitch! ๐Ÿ’ฅ I mean, 6 out of the 11 players selected for the Fifpro Women's World XI are English, and Lucy Bronze is like a legend now - she's broken so many records! ๐Ÿคฏ I love how the selectors chose Millie Bright and Chloe Kelly, they're not even from the European Championship team, but they've done amazing things with the national team. And to be honest, it feels good that England has such talented players who are making a name for themselves on the global stage. ๐Ÿด๓ ง๓ ข๓ ฅ๓ ฎ๓ ง๓ ฟ

I'm so over how they don't even have any players from England on the team who actually played together this year ๐Ÿค”. Like, what's the point of having a team with 6 English players if you're gonna leave out everyone from the actual tournament? It feels like they're just cherry-picking for past performances instead of giving it to the current squad. And why is Lucy Bronze getting all the recognition every year anyway? I mean, don't get me wrong, she's an amazing player and all that... but can't anyone else get some love too? ๐Ÿคทโ€โ™€๏ธ The voting system is just so weird, 6,000 footballers worldwide deciding who gets to be on this team is a joke ๐Ÿ˜‚.
