I dont get why cant just use recyclable plastics already . like, isnt that what everyone says we need to do? i mean, im all for saving the planet but whats with all these confusing terms and labels? can someone explain to me how its different from regular packaging?
The beauty industry is like trying to put together a puzzle with random pieces... I mean, it's great that they're all trying, but some of these eco-friendly labels just seem like marketing speak . Can't we have some standardization or something? Like, if a brand says their packaging is recyclable, it should be verifiable .
And what's up with the lack of regulation? It's like companies are playing a game of "I'm cleaner than you" . Sephora's initiative sounds great and all, but can we get some government oversight or something?
Also, Fekkai's PCR plastic claim is cool and all, but how reliable is that supply chain?
I think it's pretty wild that companies are just trying to slap a "green" label on their products without actually knowing what that means. Like, 95% post-consumer recycled plastic sounds cool, but is that even possible? And why can't we have some standard rules for all these beauty brands? It's like they're all just winging it and hoping consumers don't ask too many questions. I guess if companies start leading the way with sustainability and transparency, maybe governments will take notice and create some real regulations.
