TV tonight: murder and romance in Death in Paradise spin-off

A new season of Death in Paradise is here to capture your attention with a murder mystery set on the coast of Australia, in the second season of its spin-off Return to Paradise. Detective Mackenzie Clarke returns to her hometown of Dolphin Cove where she'll have to solve another gruesome crime - that of a shark researcher found dead on his boat.

As the case unfolds, Mackenzie must also navigate her complicated past with Glenn, a forensic pathologist ex-fiancรฉ who still holds feelings for her. Their romance is put to the test as they delve deeper into the investigation. It looks like this season will be an exciting ride filled with twists and turns as Detective Clarke tries to bring justice to Dolphin Cove.

On another note, Unreported World delves into Latin America where conflict has escalated between the government and guerrilla groups in Colombia. The report, sent by Latin America correspondent Guillermo Galdos, examines why despite a peace deal signed nine years ago, narco violence persists.

In Northern Ireland, DCI Boyd will be investigating two different cases that seem to be connected - one involving a hurling player's fatal attack and another where he finally confronts the man he believes shot his father. However, what if it's not who they thought?

If you're in the mood for zombies, The Walking Dead: Daryl Dixon has its second episode with Daryl and Carol washing up on the shores of Spain after their failed trip to America. They've found a community but things are not as safe as they seem.

To wrap up your evening, the Graham Norton Show will feature Keira Knightley, Malala Yousafzai, Aimee Lou Wood, Chris McCausland and Mumford & Sons with Hozier for an entertaining night of chat and music.

You can also catch a horror movie in Crawl which features an ingenious premise of a crawlspace overrun by alligators. Or watch some live sports action from the FA Cup football match between Luton Town v Forest Green Rovers on TNT Sports 1.

omg u gotta check out this new season of Death in Paradise ๐Ÿคฏ it's like, super creepy with a shark researcher getting murdered on his boat ๐Ÿฆˆ๐Ÿ‘€ and Detective Clarke is back in Dolphin Cove where she's got some major unfinished business with her ex Glenn ๐Ÿ’˜๐Ÿ’” i'm so here for the romance drama and murder mystery ๐Ÿ˜ can't wait to see what twists and turns this season brings!

I'm so excited for the new season of Death in Paradise, especially with the spin-off Return to Paradise ๐Ÿค”. But I have to fact-check if the story really takes place on the coast of Australia... I couldn't find any info confirming that ๐Ÿ˜. Maybe it's set in some exotic location? Also, I'm a bit skeptical about the timing of the peace deal mentioned in Unreported World... 9 years ago might be a bit too early for it to still be ongoing ๐Ÿคทโ€โ™‚๏ธ. And what's with the plot twist in DCI Boyd's cases? If it's not who they thought... sounds like a real whodunit ๐Ÿง. I'm intrigued by The Walking Dead: Daryl Dixon, but I need more info about that Spanish community ๐ŸŒด. Can't wait to watch Keira Knightley and Mumford & Sons on the Graham Norton Show, but what's with Chris McCausland? Never heard of him ๐Ÿ˜…. Oh, and a crawlspace overrun by alligators? Sounds like a wild movie ๐ŸŠ!

๐Ÿค” So I'm thinking, have you guys noticed how our obsession with true crime and detective shows has become a thing? Like, we can't get enough of them! And now this new season of Death in Paradise is like the cherry on top - a murder mystery set in Australia sounds like just what I need to take my mind off things. ๐Ÿ  But you know what's even more intriguing? The way the show's creator has woven together Mackenzie Clarke's complicated past with her current case. It's like, can we really trust our detectives when they're dealing with their own demons?

And then there's this whole Latin America situation in Unreported World... I mean, nine years ago, a peace deal was signed, but it sounds like that just hasn't stuck ๐Ÿคทโ€โ™‚๏ธ. What's going on? Is it even possible to make progress when it feels like the same old cycles of violence keep repeating themselves?

And have you seen Daryl Dixon and The Walking Dead: Daryl Dixon? ๐Ÿ˜ฑ That opening scene was intense! I love how they're not just surviving, but trying to build a community. It's like, can we apply that to real life? ๐Ÿค” And what about the Graham Norton Show? Keira Knightley, Malala Yousafzai... it sounds like it's going to be an epic chat and music night.

But you know what's been on my mind lately? Those crawlspace alligators in Crawl... ๐Ÿ˜ฑ That's just insane! How does that even happen?! ๐Ÿคฏ

๐Ÿคฉ just saw that Death in Paradise is back and it looks like so juicy this time with a murder mystery set on an Aussie coast ๐ŸŒด! I'm literally hooked already, can't wait to see what twists Detective Mackenzie Clarke gets herself into with her complicated past w/ Glenn. ๐Ÿ’• Also, Unreported World sounds super interesting, especially since Colombia has been going through some stuff for ages. Latin America correspondent Guillermo Galdos is so talented ๐Ÿ™Œ. And The Walking Dead: Daryl Dixon had me on the edge of my seat last ep! ๐Ÿ˜ฑ That crawlspace overrun by alligators in Crawl looks like a wild ride... gotta add that to my watchlist ASAP ๐ŸŽฅ

OMG u guys I'm literally so excited for the new season of Death in Paradise ๐Ÿคฉ! I know, right? Shark researcher dead on his boat in Australia sounds like a wild plot twist ๐Ÿ˜ฑ. And to make things more complicated, Mackenzie's ex Glenn is back into the picture and she still has feelings for him ๐Ÿ˜๐Ÿ”ฅ. Their romance history is just too much drama for me. Can't wait to see how it all plays out! ๐Ÿ“บ

On another note, Unreported World sounds so intense ๐Ÿคฏ. Colombia's conflict situation is so sad and scary. I hope Guillermo Galdos' report sheds some light on what's really going on there ๐Ÿ’ก.

And The Walking Dead: Daryl Dixon has me curious too ๐Ÿฆ–๐Ÿ‘ป. Who did really shoot DCI Boyd's dad? That plot twist had me like ๐Ÿค”๐Ÿ’ญ.

Graham Norton Show is gonna be so lit ๐Ÿ˜‚! Keira Knightley and Malala Yousafzai are my ultimate chat show dream team ๐Ÿ’โ€โ™€๏ธ๐Ÿ“š. And Mumford & Sons with Hozier always brings the energy ๐Ÿ”ฅ๐ŸŽธ.

What's your fave show or movie for this week? ๐Ÿค”

I'm so stoked that Death in Paradise is back with another season! The idea of Detective Clarke returning to her hometown and navigating her complicated past sounds like a real page-turner ๐Ÿ˜Ž. And the twist about the connected cases? Genius! I love how this show always keeps me guessing. On a different note, Unreported World's report on Colombia is really thought-provoking - it's crazy that despite a peace deal, narco violence persists ๐Ÿคฏ. Can't wait to check out The Walking Dead: Daryl Dixon too - who doesn't love zombies? And that Graham Norton Show lineup looks like an absolute blast! ๐Ÿ’ƒ๐Ÿป

๐Ÿค” I'm not sure what's more thrilling, the idea of a new season of Death in Paradise or the fact that they're exploring the darker side of human nature with all these gruesome crimes! ๐Ÿฆˆ It seems like the writers are on a roll this time around, and I love how the spin-off series is bringing back some familiar faces from the original show. Mackenzie Clarke's complicated past with Glenn had me hooked from the get-go - it's always fascinating to see characters navigate their personal demons while solving crimes.

But what really caught my attention was that Unreported World delves into the complexities of conflict in Colombia. ๐ŸŒŽ It's heartbreaking to think that despite a peace deal, narco violence still persists, and I'm sure Guillermo Galdos' report will shed some much-needed light on this issue. DCI Boyd's cases sound like they'll be a wild ride, too - there's something about the idea of a connection between two seemingly unrelated crimes that has me curious! ๐Ÿคฏ Can't wait to see how it all unfolds.

Lastly, The Graham Norton Show always promises an entertaining night out, and with such a talented lineup, I'm sure it'll be a treat for music lovers and chat enthusiasts alike. And if you're in the mood for something spooky or adventurous, Crawl sounds like just the ticket! ๐ŸŽฅ

I'M SO EXCITED FOR DEATH IN PARADISE THIS NEW SEASON IS GOING TO BE SO GOOD!!! DETECTIVE MACKENZIE CLARKE IS SUCH A GREAT CHARACTER AND HER PAST WITH GLENN IS JUST PERFECTLY COMPLICATED I LOVE HOW THEY'RE GOING TO NAVIGATE THEIR FEELINGS WHILE SOLVING THE SHARK RESEARCHER'S DEATH CASE I'M ALREADY ON THE EDGE OF MY SEAT THINKING ABOUT ALL THE TWISTS AND TURNS

I'm so stoked for the new season of Return to Paradise! I've heard great things about this spin-off and Mackenzie Clarke's character sounds like she'll be a total boss solving that shark researcher murder. The complicated past with Glenn is gonna be drama-filled, can't wait to see how it all plays out ๐Ÿค”

But, on a more serious note, the Unreported World report on Colombia really got my attention. I mean, nine years after a peace deal, narco violence still persists? It's wild. Guillermo Galdos' reporting is always so in-depth and thought-provoking.

And, omg, The Walking Dead: Daryl Dixon sounds like it'll be an intense ride! Zombie apocalypse vibes are always on point. ๐Ÿง

Last thing, I'm super down for the Graham Norton Show lineup. Keira Knightley and Malala Yousafzai on the same night? Iconic ๐Ÿ’–

I'm not sure why they're setting up shop in Australia, seems like a publicity stunt to me ๐Ÿค”. I mean, don't get me wrong, a murder mystery is always exciting, but let's be real, it's just another example of the 'rich man's problem' โ€“ rich people can just afford to leave their problems somewhere else. And what about the impact on local businesses and residents? Are they even getting a fair shake from these tourists?

And then there's this Colombian conflict โ€“ nine years since the peace deal, still no resolution ๐Ÿคทโ€โ™€๏ธ. It's like our politicians are playing a game of 'chicken' with narco cartels, hoping someone will blink first. Meanwhile, innocent people are getting caught in the crossfire. We need more than just PR stunts to tackle this issue โ€“ we need real action and accountability.

And have you seen the way these TV shows are perpetuating the 'zombie apocalypse' trope? Like, what's next? A zombie virus outbreak in Luton Town? ๐Ÿคฃ It's just a bunch of hooey to distract us from the real problems. We should be focusing on solving the issues that matter, not getting caught up in fantasy worlds.

OMG, I'm so stoked for the new season of Death in Paradise ๐Ÿคฉ! A murder mystery set in Australia sounds like a dream come true - and with Detective Mackenzie Clarke's complicated past with Glenn added to the mix, it's gonna be a wild ride ๐Ÿ˜. But seriously, I love how the show keeps bringing back familiar faces and revisiting their storylines... it's like getting a big ol' hug from an old friend ๐Ÿค—.

And, oh man, Unreported World is like, so in-depth ๐Ÿ•ต๏ธโ€โ™€๏ธ! Examining the ongoing conflict between the government and guerrilla groups in Colombia is super timely and important. It's not always easy to watch, but it's so necessary to shed some light on these issues โœจ.

But, back to Death in Paradise... I'm literally counting down the days until new episodes drop ๐ŸŽ‰! The Walking Dead: Daryl Dixon better be ready for some major twists or I'll be FREAKING OUT ๐Ÿ˜‚. And, let's not forget about that crawlspace overrun by alligators in Crawl - talk about a nightmare scenario ๐Ÿœ๐Ÿ’€!

Time to wrap up this evening with some quality TV and maybe even get the ol' Netflix queue going ๐Ÿ“บ... anyone got any recs?

omg, i'm so hyped for that new season of Death in Paradise ๐Ÿคฉ! daryl and carol's story looks super intense ๐Ÿ˜ฒ i also love how return to paradise is bringing detective mackenzie clarkes to the game - she sounds like such a strong character ๐Ÿ’โ€โ™€๏ธ. and what's up with dci boyd's cases? two murders that might be connected... my mind is already racing ๐Ÿคฏ. and gotta say, The Walking Dead: Daryl Dixon seems soooo cool! ๐ŸŽฅ

can't believe they're doing a new season of Death in Paradise ๐ŸŒด but i gotta say, australia as a murder mystery setting? not sure about it... maybe just too much competition from true detective or better yet, have them keep it in the caribbean where it's all sunny and fun ๐Ÿ˜Ž

Just watched that first ep of Return to Paradise ๐ŸŒŠ๐Ÿ‘ฎโ€โ™€๏ธ and I'm hooked already! Love how Detective Clarke's past is woven into her present case - it's like she can't escape her demons, you know? ๐Ÿ˜• And the Aussie setting sounds so pretty and mysterious. Can't wait for more twists and turns! ๐Ÿ‘€ And that shark researcher... ew, what a gruesome way to go ๐Ÿฆˆ๐Ÿ’€

Umm, Death in Paradise again? Can't they come up with something new for once lol. I mean, Australia this time? Shark researcher, wow, that's some deep water stuff ๐Ÿคฏ. I'm curious about the complicated past between Mackenzie and Glenn though, is it gonna be a slow burn or a love triangle explosion? ๐Ÿ’˜

And on another note, Colombia, huh? It's crazy how conflict never seems to end in Latin America ๐Ÿค”. Peace deals are supposed to bring stability, but it sounds like that's not happening here.

What I'm actually excited about is The Graham Norton Show with all those celebrities! Keira Knightley and Malala Yousafzai together will be lit ๐Ÿ”ฅ. And have you seen the trailer for Crawl? That crawlspace filled with gators looks insane ๐Ÿ˜ฑ. Gotta watch that one. ๐Ÿ‘

I'm thinking about this new season of Death in Paradise and it got me thinking... life's not always as predictable as a crime show, you know? Sometimes the twists and turns we expect to happen don't end up being what we thought they would be ๐Ÿ˜Š. Like with Mackenzie Clarke's case, is she really getting closure from confronting her ex, or is it just more of the same old feelings lingering in the background? ๐Ÿค” It makes me think that sometimes we need to dig deeper into our own pasts and confront our own demons to truly move forward... and not just for others, but for ourselves too ๐Ÿ’ก.

omg u guys i just can't even right now ๐Ÿคฏ the new season of death in paradise is literally the perfect antidote to this crazy world we're living in. i mean, who doesn't love a good murder mystery with a dash of romance and some seriously gnarly shark attacks? ๐Ÿฆˆ๐Ÿ”ช and can we talk about how complex detective mackenzie clarke's backstory is? like, girl's been through so much already but still manages to keep it together ๐Ÿ’โ€โ™€๏ธ. i'm low-key excited for the season premier and high-key obsessed with her character development ๐Ÿ˜‚.
