UK new car buyers drive a bargain as average discount nears £6,000

I dunno about all these discounts 🤔... it sounds like the car industry is just trying to meet sales targets 📉. Like, I get that electric vehicles are cool and all, but a £7k discount on a battery car? That's just crazy! 💸 In my opinion, the real savings come from lower fuel costs and maintenance needs, not some manufacturer offering a sweet deal just to move units off the lot 🚗.

And let's be real, buyers should still expect to haggle 🔥. I mean, dealers are always trying to make a sale, so if you want that car at £36k, you're gonna have to negotiate 😊. And don't even get me started on those "sustainable discounts" 🤷‍♂️... sounds like just an excuse for manufacturers to offer deep cuts and hope it doesn't harm their sales targets 📈.

I'm not saying electric cars aren't a good deal, but I think we need to separate the hype from the reality 🌊. Anyone else feeling skeptical about all these discounts? 😎
