Meanwhile, we're left with watered-down journalism and propaganda masquerading as news . We need more transparency and stricter regulations on media ownership . omg u guys i just can't even right now so i was reading this article about the ultra-rich media moguls who are basically trying to control everything and it's giving me life...literally these people like elon musk and jeff bezos they're literally billionaires and they have the power to shape our news and information and it's just so concerning i mean we already have trump trying to ruin democracy and now these media moguls are like "oh noes let me just own the news too" and honestly it's not even a secret anymore they're all about that benjamins baby

and don't even get me started on larry ellison he's literally donated to trump and participated in a phone call to contest the 2020 election like wut is wrong with these ppl it's like they're trying to undermine our democracy and we can't just sit back and watch

anyway i think the guardian is like our only hope for truth and reporting right now but seriously we need to be more vigilant and take action against these corporate interests that are trying to silence us
