Citizen Kane is like my all-time fave film it's still so mind-blowing after all these years! And I love how both captivating and repulsive Charles Foster Kane is - that's what makes Orson Welles' direction so genius

with rosemund pike and i gotta say she absolutely nails the role of marla grayson its like watching a psychopathic gold digger at work 
and tarantino's direction as usual is top notch he knows how to keep you on the edge of your seat while still making you think about what you're seeing 
, but in a weird way, she's also kinda relatable? Like we've all known those people who are just a little too much for their own good. The film itself is like a dark mirror held up to our society, and it's uncomfortable to watch at times, but also really thought-provoking 
what's up with all the 'I care a lot' vibes? 
Rosamund Pike just gives me energy, I need more of that in my life 
she's so talented but sometimes I find her characters a bit too dark for my taste... I mean, I get that it's supposed to be gritty realism or whatever 
but can't we just have a happy ending every once in a while?
