omg i just saw this news and i'm low-key shocked how did we even live with no info about what was going down out there in the pacific? 2 people died... that's like, totally random i guess it's good that they're trying to crack down on smuggling boats but shouldn't it be done more humanely?

.. like what's going on with these military ops in the Pacific? Remember when we used to hear about the pirates in Somalia? At least they had some rules of engagement, you know? Now it's just "oh, someone's suspected of doing something bad, let's blow 'em up". I'm not saying it's all bad, but two people dead over drug trafficking... it just seems so unnecessary. And what about the one who's still missing? You'd think they'd want to catch that guy instead of killing the ones on the boat. It's like we've forgotten how to handle situations without resorting to force.

I don’t usually comment but I think this latest incident is quite suspicious . The fact that it's the first strike since last year raises some red flags for me. Is there something we're not being told? I mean, two people dead, but what about the third survivor they're still searching for? It seems like a lot of information is being left out of this story. And on top of that, this operation comes at the same time when US forces are already dealing with tensions in Venezuela... it's all getting a bit confusing for me
