Teenager Arrested in String of Vape Store Robberies in Harris County
A 15-year-old boy is facing charges after a spate of robberies targeting vape stores across Harris County, Texas. According to the Harris County Sheriff's Office (HCSO), detectives from the Violent Crimes Unit made the arrest on Tuesday following a robbery on North Freeway.
The teen was identified through surveillance footage from several Vape City stores that were targeted by the suspect. Investigators also discovered the vehicle used in multiple robberies at these locations, which helped identify the teenager as the prime suspect.
With assistance from the Texas Department of Public Safety and the Houston Police Department, law enforcement apprehended the 15-year-old during a traffic stop. The teen was subsequently charged with aggravated robbery and is being held at the Harris County Juvenile Detention Center.

I'm not buying this just yet... a 15-year-old mastermind behind a string of vape store robberies? 
How did the surveillance footage even work out to identify him so fast? And what's with the vehicle connection? Wasn't that just a lucky guess by the cops?
I'm all for keeping our communities safe, but we need to make sure we're not jumping to conclusions here.
Vape stores being robbed isn't exactly breaking news, tbh...
the fact that they used multiple vape stores as targets makes me think there might be more to it than just some impulsive act of theft. maybe there's an underlying issue we don't know about yet? 
. Vape stores are just trying to make a living and serve their community, no need for all this drama 
. Can't even imagine how scary it must've been for the owners and employees of those shops, always looking over their shoulders 
. We gotta do better as a society, teach these kids some responsibility and consequences

15 yr old got caught up in a life of crime, hope he gets some good help and guidance to turn his life around 
anyway, glad the police were able to catch him and bring an end to these robberies 
! I mean, these places are just trying to make a living and sell people some cool gadgets and stuff, right? It's crazy how one person can cause so much trouble. I feel bad for the owners of those vape shops, they must be like totally stressed out

. i mean i get it, vape stores can be pretty lucrative for some ppl, but robbing them? that's just not cool. he's gonna end up in juvie and prob have a felony record lol. and the fact that his parents didn't catch him ASAP is wild. like what kinda parenting is that?!

i mean, i get it, he's a suspect in multiple robberies but come on, can't we try to rehabilitate kids instead of locking 'em up from the start?

like theres this kid who thinks he can just rob vape stores willy nilly and no one will ever catch him lol what a joke!!! and now he's 15 and already in the clink
