2026 Oscar nominations: The good, the bad, and the ugly - Detroit Metro Times

🤦‍♂️ I mean, what's up with the Oscars? It's like they're trying to please everyone but themselves. Give me a break, just give out some actual awards to films that deserve them instead of playing it safe all the time! 😒 And don't even get me started on how snubbed some talented actors and directors are. I mean, come on Oscar Academy, you can do better than "just an accident" 🤷‍♂️. And what's up with the weird fascination we have with predicting who's gonna win? It's like we're all just trying to one-up each other instead of enjoying the art for what it is 💯

🎥 I gotta say, this year's Oscars are just wild 🤯. On one hand, you got some amazing films that actually deserve recognition 🙌, but on the other hand, there are some serious snubs 😒. Like, what happened to "No Other Choice" and how did it get completely overlooked? 🤷‍♂️ And don't even get me started on "Train Dreams" - William H. Macy's performance was incredible! 🎬

But for real, the Oscars are like this weird contradiction where art meets commerce 💸, but sometimes sanity just takes a backseat 😂. It's like, we love these movies because they're emotional and meaningful, but at the same time, we also hate them because of how much hype surrounds 'em 🎉.

Anyway, I'm hyped to see some of these films and cheer on the underdogs 🤩! And yeah, one thing that's for sure is that some movies will last way longer than the Oscars themselves ⏰.

omg I'm so confused by this year's oscars snubs!!! park chan-wook's "no other choice" should def be up there 🤯 leonardo di caprio is still a god 👑 and timothée chalamet's "marty supreme" is like, the most iconic thing since sliced bread 🍞 but u know who deserves all the love? felicity jones for her amazing performance in "train dreams" 🎥 she brings so much depth to that character it's heartbreaking 😭 anyway can't wait for the oscars ceremony 📺 gotta see those red carpet looks 💄
