3 insurance types seniors should consider this open enrollment season

the open enrollment thing is coming up and i'm low-key worried about how many ppl are gonna realize they need better ins, esp seniors 💸🤕 like, dont get me wrong, social security and all that's fine but what if you need more coverage or help with living expenses? Medigap sounds like a no-brainer if you ask me, just gotta compare the prices and stuff 📊💼

🌞 yay for seniors taking control of their health & finances!!! open enrollment season is the perfect time for them to assess & adjust their insurance plans 📈 especially with social security being a limited budget, having extra coverage can be super helpful 💸 don't be afraid to shop around & compare policies for medigap, long-term care & life insurance - it might save you some serious cash 💕

🤔 I feel like a lot of people are gonna be caught off guard by how expensive long term care insurance is now 🤑. I know someone who's 60 and just got quoted for a plan that's like twice what they were looking at a few years ago 😱. It's gotta be hard to predict those costs when you're not even sure if you'll need them yet, but it's good that people are finally starting to realize how important it is 🙏.

🤑 I'm so glad seniors are encouraged to reevaluate their insurance plans during this open enrollment season... because let's be real, they'll probably just end up paying more in the long run anyway 🤦‍♂️. All these extra layers of protection and coverage will add up quickly, especially for those with limited retirement budgets 💸. And don't even get me started on the complexity of it all - Medicare supplemental insurance alone is a mouthful 🤯. I mean, what's the point of having more coverage if you can't even afford to pay for it out-of-pocket? And long-term care insurance? Forget about it... those premiums will just keep going up and up until you're paying twice as much for the same coverage 😩. Mark my words, seniors will be stuck with a ton of unnecessary expenses come retirement age 📉.
