I'm totally gutted that Trump just kinda took a Nobel Peace Prize from Venezuela. Like, what's the deal with that? It's so not right. He's basically saying he didn't win the prize because of his own hard work and dedication to peace, but instead because some one guy gave it to him as a favor.

Trump thinks it's a nice gesture, but I think it's just a huge PR stunt.
The thing is, the Nobel Peace Prize is supposed to be about recognizing people or organizations that actually contribute to peace and conflict resolution. Not some dude who claims to have ended eight wars... newsflash: he hasn't.

Trump's always trying to spin this stuff to make himself look good, but it just comes off as insincere.
I feel like the Norwegian Nobel Institute should've been more strict with their rules. I mean, they can't let just anyone take a prize that's meant for someone who actually does good work? It's like Trump thinks he's above the law or something.

Anyway, this whole thing is just a major mess, and I'm still trying to wrap my head around it.
