Ugh, can't believe these docs think they're gonna capture the human side of this crazy situation . I mean, we all know the White House is just trying to stir up drama, but still... how do you even portray the emotions of people when they're literally having their lives put on hold? It's like, don't they get it that the courtrooms are basically war zones for these folks? And what about the ones who can't even speak English? They're just gonna show a bunch of scenes with moms and kids and make everyone feel all warm and fuzzy inside . I need some real footage of people getting deported or something... that's what gets my attention
I dont get why they're makin a documentary about this stuff its like we already know whats goin on, people are just tryna survive. 12 months of documentin sounds like a lot but is it really gonna make a difference? Im not sure its worth the hassle. What do you guys think tho?
I think this doco's gonna be super powerful, gotta see it for myself . The fact that they're trying to capture the humanity in the midst of all this chaos is really what makes me want to watch it. And I love how they're making it accessible online too . It's a shame about the filmmakers struggling with how to portray everyday people without putting them on the spot though... seems like a tough one to balance . Can't wait for the test screening and to see what they've got so far
