I think they should've kept the flood theme going, ya know? It added a sense of urgency & raised awareness about climate change . Instead it feels like just another murder mystery. Still, Sophie Rundle is amazing as ever and her chemistry with Lorraine Ashbourne is top-notch . Maybe they should've mixed up the formula a bit more instead of playing it safe?
omg u guys i just finished season 2 of after the flood and i'm still trying to process everything sophie rundle is literally giving me life as jo marshall her character development is so on point but i feel like they toned down the whole catastrophic flood thing that was such a cool plot device in season 1 now it just feels kinda meh lol also i gotta say the new partner for jo is pretty meh too idk man sometimes i wish they would've stuck with the original formula but overall sophie rundle still shines and the supporting cast is so good
OMG, I'm still loving After the Flood!!! Sophie Rundle is literally the best thing on TV rn! Her character Jo Marshall is so inspiring, especially with all the social commentary and environmental issues thrown into the mix But yeah, Season 2 didn't quite live up to the hype for me... the plot twists were kinda predictable and that flood thingy was missing I mean, what's a Flood series without some major flooding, am I right? Still worth watching tho, Rundle shines as always and the cast is amazing
I'm still really loving After the Flood! Sophie Rundle is just incredible as Jo Marshall , I mean, she has this way of making you feel like you're right there with her, experiencing all these intense emotions. And I love how the show is still tackling tough climate change issues, it's so important to keep that in mind. The characters are super well-developed, too - I'm especially loving the dynamic between Jo and her mom Molly . My only wish for Season Two would be even more crazy plot twists... but overall, it's still a great show!
I'm still kinda meh about season 2, feels like they toned down the crazy elements that made the first season so compelling but rundle is still on point as jo marshall, her dynamic with her mom molly is literally the best part of the show, can't wait to see how it develops meanwhile, i wish they'd mix up the formula a bit more, less predictable plot twists would keep me engaged for longer
