AI use in breast cancer screening cuts rate of later diagnosis by 12%, study finds

the thing is, we gotta be real here... AI-assisted mammography might just be the future of breast cancer detection 🤖 but what if its accuracy rate isn't perfect? 12% reduction in late diagnoses sounds great, but what about all those cases where it still misses something? like, i'm not saying we shouldn't explore this tech, but let's make sure we're not putting too much faith in it just yet 💡. and btw, have you seen the numbers for false positives? that's a whole 'nother can of worms 🤯. anyway, at least we're talking about this and trying to find better ways to detect breast cancer... that's what matters 🙏
