An AI Toy Exposed 50,000 Logs of Its Chats With Kids to Anyone With a Gmail Account

OMG, I'm still shaking my head over this 🤯... Like, who leaves their web console totally unsecured? It's not exactly rocket science to protect user data, you know? And Bondu, an American company, just left it wide open for anyone with a Gmail account to dive in and scoop up sensitive info about kids 🤕. I mean, can you imagine if some malicious person got their hands on that stuff? It's like, a total nightmare scenario 😱.

And what really gets me is that they didn't even realize how insecure it was themselves. The researchers just stumbled upon it while investigating security risks... Talk about a lack of quality control 🤦‍♂️. But kudos to them for blowing the whistle and bringing attention to this issue, at least 👏.

The thing is, we need to start thinking more critically about AI-powered products that deal with kids' data. We can't just assume they're safe because they seem harmless 🙅‍♀️. There are just too many variables and risks involved. We need stricter regulations in place to protect those vulnerable populations 💡.
