As stars wear black at Valentino's funeral, tributes are dressed in red

I think it's so cool that Donatella Versace showed up at Valentino's funeral wearing a bright red suit 🙌. It was like she was saying "we're still here for you, Valentino!" And I love how they chose Pantone 2347C as the closest match to his signature shade - it's such a great tribute 💕.

I also think that Valentino's affinity for red is so interesting 🤔. Like, he created this iconic color before even Pantone started standardizing colors! It's amazing how much power and luxury that color has come to represent in fashion 💁‍♀️.

And I have to disagree with Charlie Porter a bit - I think it's totally true that references to Valentino can get overhyped 🙅‍♂️. But at the same time, I love how Kassia St Clair says that red transcends trends and associations - it's like this timeless symbol of style and beauty 💖.

Anyway, it's clear that Valentino's legacy is going to live on through his iconic color 🔥.
