of course Ackman would donate to this GoFundMe, it's not like he actually knows what he's getting himself involved with... I mean, who wouldn't want to support a fundraiser created by someone with a profile picture that's basically the symbol for white supremacy? 
It's not like the donor wants to be known as an accomplice to hate. And Ackman just casually throws in his two cents saying he supports both causes because Ross did what was necessary... yeah sure, maybe if you're okay with vigilante justice and think it's cool when someone gets shot for doing their job 
.It's wild how fast this fundraiser went viral and now Ackman is like "oh I'm a good guy" just because he donated some cash. The fact that the GoFundMe was shut down for the rival campaign speaks volumes about where the system falls short when it comes to handling hate speech and extremist groups.
