British canoeist Kurts Adams Rozentals banned for 'explicit' social media post

British Canoeist Banned for Posting Explicit Social Media Footage

A disciplinary panel has slapped a two-year ban on British canoeist Kurts Adams Rozentals over "explicit" footage of himself posted on social media. The 23-year-old athlete had uploaded the video, which included him performing what was described as a "sexual act" on an aeroplane to his public Instagram account in March, to his public Instagram account.

The panel found that Rozentals' actions brought the sport into "serious disrepute," citing gross misconduct. As well as being barred from all competition and training, he has also been removed from Paddle UK's World Class Programme, a lottery-funded initiative supporting athletes for the 2028 and 2032 Olympics.

Rozentals defended his actions, claiming he did not regret posting the video and pointed to its financial benefits, which he said led him to continue pursuing the career. He stated that he had earned over Β£100,000 from social media content between January and May but disputed Paddle UK's funding claim, stating he received Β£16,000 annually.

The decision was made by a disciplinary panel following an independent investigation and hearing involving Rozentals, with Paddle UK saying the athlete "admitted posting an explicit video on their public Instagram profile." The governing body stated that this breach of policy related to "indecent, offensive or immoral behavior" and "offensive use of social media."

Rozentals had previously suggested a link between his suspension and his OnlyFans account but was found to have intentionally misinformed the press.

OMG 🀯, I mean come on! You've got a 23-yr-old canoeist getting banned for two years from competing because he posted some explicit footage of himself on Instagram... like what's next? πŸ€·β€β™‚οΈ A two-year ban for posting a selfie with a funny face on TikTok? πŸ˜‚ It's just not right. I get that he might have done something stupid, but who doesn't love a good ol' fashioned social media scandal every now and then? πŸ’Έ And let's be real, the dude made over Β£100k from it! πŸ€‘ He should've been allowed to keep on paddling (literally) and profiting off his social media fame. The governing body just needs to chill out and get with the times... or maybe just update their policy to include TikTok 😜

OMG, can you believe what just happened? 🀯 Some people just don't get it! Kurts Adams Rozentals thought he was being clever with posting that explicit video on Instagram, but really, he just ended up getting himself into a whole world of trouble 😳. I mean, who wants to watch some guy doing... whatever it is he did on the plane? πŸ€ͺ Not me, for sure!

And now, not only is he banned from competitions and training, but he's also lost out on funding and a ton of credibility πŸ€¦β€β™‚οΈ. It just goes to show that you can't just do what you want online and expect everyone else to be okay with it πŸ™…β€β™€οΈ. Rozentals needs to learn about the importance of setting boundaries and considering how his actions might affect others 🀝.

As a productivity enthusiast, I always stress the importance of being mindful of our online presence πŸ“Š. We never know who's watching or what they might think 😳. It's not just about avoiding trouble; it's also about respecting ourselves and others πŸ’–. So, let this be a lesson to us all: be thoughtful, be considerate, and be responsible online πŸ‘.

πŸ€¦β€β™‚οΈ that guy is so reckless... 23 years old and already gets banned from everything 🚫, not just canoeing πŸŠβ€β™‚οΈ. He thought posting explicit vids on social media would be a good idea πŸ’β€β™‚οΈ? More like a bad idea 😳. And now he's gonna lose out on those Olympic funds πŸ€•... kinda a hard lesson to learn πŸ“š.

I'm really surprised by the severity of the ban πŸ€”. I mean, Kurts Adams Rozentals is an athlete, not some kind of influencer trying to build a brand 😊. He's been open about his OnlyFans account before and it didn't seem like it was causing any issues. It's just a bit weird that he gets two years of ban for something that might be considered "mature" but still not really that explicit πŸ€·β€β™‚οΈ.

I get why Paddle UK wants to protect the sport, especially with kids involved, but at the same time, athletes should be able to express themselves and have some freedom on social media 😊. Maybe they could've found a middle ground where he gets a warning or a lighter ban? πŸ€”

I don't get why he thought it was a good idea to post that video on Instagram in the first place πŸ€¦β€β™‚οΈ. Like, you're on an aeroplane? Who does that? And now look what's happened - his career is basically over... two years without competing or training? It's a big deal for him and his team, too. Not to mention Paddle UK having to deal with the fallout. Can't even have a social media mishap without getting in trouble these days πŸ€·β€β™‚οΈ. And what really gets me is that he's still trying to spin it as if it was worth something... Β£100k from OnlyFans? Please, most of us can barely make ends meet πŸ€‘.

Ugh, this is just so cringeworthy πŸ™ˆ. Like, I get it, Kurts Adams Rozentals wanted to make some cash off that video... 100k in one year? That's some serious dedication (or desperation) πŸ’Έ. But, man, posting explicit footage on social media during a flight? That's just basic common sense, you know? πŸ€¦β€β™‚οΈ

And I feel for the poor guy, but this is Paddle UK we're talking about, not a college campus 🏫. You gotta expect some level of professionalism from athletes, especially when they're representing a sport and its governing body. And now he's lost all that funding for the Olympics? It's like, what a waste πŸ’”.

I mean, I'm all for self-expression and taking risks, but Rozentals just took it too far... or maybe not far enough? πŸ€·β€β™‚οΈ He should've thought twice before posting that video, especially considering he had an aeroplane full of passengers 🚫. Guess you could say his actions brought the sport into serious disrepute... and, honestly, a bit of shame πŸ‘Ž.

can't believe they're banning him for posting that explicit vid on plane 🀯🚫, i think it's kinda funny how he got banned from competition & training but still managed to rake in Β£100k from social media ads πŸ’Έ. paddy uk is just playing it safe by removing him from the world class program tho, might've been a great opportunity for the young bloke πŸ€”. and btw, shouldn't they be focusing on more pressing issues like athlete's mental health or funding for younger athletes instead of policing their social media activity? πŸ€·β€β™‚οΈ

OMG 😱 just read about this British canoeist getting banned from competition for posting some super explicit vid on Instagram... I mean, I guess you get what you pay for with that sorta content πŸ€‘ but still, gotta wonder if it was really worth the 2-year ban πŸ€·β€β™‚οΈ. On one hand, he's still got his social media fame and cash flow going strong πŸ’Έ, but on the other, now he's also stripped of a chance to represent his country at the Olympics... that's some heavy pressure πŸ’ͺ. And honestly, I kinda feel bad for him? Not gonna lie, it was kinda tempting to click on that vid πŸ€³β€β™‚οΈ, but safety first, right? 😳

Ugh, I'm so torn about this whole thing 🀯. On one hand, I get that Kurts Rozentals did cross some serious boundaries with that explicit video on Instagram... like, who does that in a plane?!? 😲 But at the same time, can't we just let people make their own mistakes and learn from them without being so harsh? He's 23, still figuring out his life, and now he's got this huge stain on his career. And what's with Paddle UK being all strict about it? I mean, isn't a little free expression allowed in the name of art or self-expression? πŸ€·β€β™‚οΈ It just feels like they're more concerned with appearances than actually supporting their athletes.

And Rozentals' response? Not impressed. I get that he didn't regret posting it, but his attempt to spin it as some kind of financial success story just comes off as tacky. Like, yeah, you made some money from it, but at what cost?!? His reputation's ruined, and now he's got a two-year ban... that's like, forever in sports years! 😩

Ugh, another case of athletes being banned for being naughty πŸ™„. I mean, come on Kurts Adams Rozentals, you knew what you were getting yourself into when you posted that explicit video on Instagram πŸ“Έ. You can't just go around doing whatever you want and expect not to get caught πŸ”’.

And now Paddle UK is footing the bill for his career because of one mistake 😩. I feel sorry for him really, he's gotta be living with the shame of that video being out there for everyone to see 🀯. But still, 2 years is a long time, maybe he should've thought twice before sharing that clip πŸ’.

Can we please just have some common sense around athletes and social media? It's not like they're above the law or anything πŸ™ƒ. Anyway, I guess this is just another example of how hard it is to maintain a public image in the sports world πŸ€”.

OMG 🀯 what's going on in this world?! Someone gets banned from canoeing for posting a vid of themselves on Instagram doing, ahem, something naughty on a plane 😳? Like, I get it, it was explicit and all that jazz... but come on! He earned over Β£100k from it too? πŸ€‘ It's like he's getting paid to be reckless with his social media skills πŸ˜‚. And now he's saying Paddle UK is trying to stop him from competing because they don't want their name associated with someone who does, you know, "adult" content? πŸ€·β€β™‚οΈ Like, can't we all just chill and not make a big deal out of it? πŸ™„

man that's so weird 🀯 i mean kurts adams rozentals is like a super talented canoeist but posting explicit stuff on instagram? that's just not cool, you know? it's not like he thought about how his fans would feel before sharing that video... and now he's got a 2 year ban which is pretty harsh tbh. i don't get why he defended himself by saying he didn't regret posting it, isn't that kinda the whole problem? anyway, i guess we can all learn from this - be mindful of what you share online, even if it's just on social media πŸ“Έ

πŸ€¦β€β™‚οΈ I'm shocked by this decision, tbh. Kurts Adams Rozentals seems like he's got a lot of guts, posting that kinda footage on Instagram. I mean, I get why Paddle UK is upset - the whole thing does seem pretty racy for a canoeist πŸ€Ήβ€β™‚οΈ - but two years is a long time. It feels like an overreaction, imo.

And Rozentals' response to all this? "I don't regret posting it"? I can see why he'd think that way, financially speaking... £100k is a pretty sweet chunk of change 😎. But at the same time, you've gotta consider the bigger picture here - what kinda message does this send to other athletes in similar situations? It's like, they might feel pressured to do something similar just to get ahead.

I don't think Rozentals was entirely wrong for speaking his mind (or should I say, showing off his body plane πŸ›«οΈ), but yeah... maybe he could've handled it better. Guess we'll just have to wait and see how this whole thing plays out πŸ€”

Ugh, can't believe some people still think they're above the law πŸ€¦β€β™‚οΈ. Like, what's next? A famous athlete getting away with posting naked selfies on Instagram just 'cause they're a pro athlete? πŸ˜’ Kurts Adams Rozentals thinks he's some kind of hero because he raked in Β£100k from his "artistic" content... meanwhile, he ruined his rep and possibly the whole canoeing sport for everyone else πŸ€¦β€β™‚οΈ. Two years is still way too long, imo πŸ’β€β™‚οΈ. And good luck getting back into the World Class Programme after this. Paddle UK made the right call in my book πŸ‘.

πŸ€” just heard about this Brit canoeist getting banned for posting some explicit vids on Instagram... like, what's wrong with people these days? can't even do a selfie without thinking about being a sex symbol πŸ€·β€β™‚οΈ. and now he's all bent out of shape about the financial benefits... honestly, it sounds like he was just looking for an excuse to get attention. newsflash: social media isn't free, dude! you gotta put in the work if you wanna make some real cash πŸ’Έ. and what's with Paddle UK being so strict? couldn't they see that Rozentals is just a talented athlete trying to live his best life? I mean, I guess when it comes down to it, he should've thought twice before posting those vids... now he's paying the price πŸ€‘.
