omg can't believe what's happening here the UK is basically going backwards on free speech rights it's like they're trying to silence ppl who are just standing up for what's right... i mean peter tatchell has been fighting for gay rights and against extremism his whole life and this is how he gets treated? arrested for holding a placard that says "globalise the intifada" which means uprising or rebellion - it's not even antisemitic! what's next gonna be people getting arrested for supporting Brexit?

can you believe this? they're cracking down on free speech left and right. i mean, i get it, not everyone's gonna agree with these protesters, but come on, a 74-year-old man is getting arrested for expressing his opinion on a placard? that's just ridiculous . what's next, are they gonna arrest people for having strong opinions about politics? because, newsflash, that's how we're supposed to have democracy - through discussion and debate, not through police batons . peter tatchell is right on the money with this whole thing, by the way. it's not antisemitic, it's just a word, folks! let's not confuse protest with hate speech here...
