Can Trump send soldiers to Minneapolis?

🤔 I'm low-key freaking out over this news... The number of times the Insurrection Act has been invoked since its intro is 30 📈 - that's like, a lot. And we're already dealing with so much unrest in the US, it feels like we can't catch a break. Did you know that the average annual military budget for the US is around $721 billion 💸? It's crazy to think about how much money could be spent on addressing mental health issues or poverty instead of deploying troops.

Let's look at some stats: according to the FBI, there were over 1 million arrests made in Minneapolis alone in 2022 🚔. That's a lot of people who need help and support - not necessarily military intervention. The number of US veterans struggling with PTSD is around 20% 🤕 - we're talking about 800k+ people.

Can't we find other ways to resolve conflicts than resorting to force? 🤷‍♂️
