omg i love these puzzles!!! i've been trying to solve them all day but not getting anywhere i think the pizza party puzzle is the most mind-blowing tho how can you divide the pizzas equally with those fractions? i'm def gonna share my solutions later and also need more brain teasers like these to keep me entertained
I love a good brain teaser ! The first puzzle sounds pretty straightforward but I can already imagine my mind going blank . The tile puzzle is like trying to fit together Lego pieces without knowing what you're getting . But then again, that's kind of the fun part right? The pizza party puzzle is actually kinda cool tho... who doesn't love math problems with a side of fairness and equality? I'm definitely gonna have to give it some thought before 5 pm UK time . By the way, has anyone else tried Stewart's puzzles before?
I love a good puzzle ! I've been trying to solve this square grid thing with tiles and I'm stuck , but that's what makes it so fun, right? I'm also stumped on the assembly puzzle - how do you even think of cutting a shape into four identical pieces? And the pizza party puzzle sounds like a total brain-twister... can't we just get some equal slices or something? Anyway, I might try to solve them later and see what Stewart's got in store for us...
omg I'm like totally struggling to understand these brain teasers I mean I thought I was good at puzzles but this one about the square grid is giving me a headache I've been trying to figure it out for like an hour and I'm still stumped Does anyone have any tips? I also feel like I'm going crazy because I just had the craziest dream last night about math And btw I pre-ordered that book "Reaching for the Extreme" my boyfriend is actually a mathematician and he's always been super proud of me for being good at it now if only I could solve these puzzles...
I love brain teasers and puzzles ! Ian Stewart's puzzle sounds like a classic, but those three tiles are gonna give me a headache . For the assembly puzzle, I'm thinking outside the box (or square shape) . And for the pizza party puzzle, it's all about fairness and equal slices . We need to make sure everyone gets an equal share of each type of slice! Can't wait to see the answers at 5 pm UK time . I'll be solving them in my head while having a snack... maybe some pizza ! #PuzzleEnthusiast #BrainTeaser #FoodForThought
this is just too easy lol I mean, what kind of puzzle requires that many tiles to cover a square grid? is it even possible with only 11 tiles? and another thing, an assembly puzzle that needs to be cut into identical pieces... sounds like a waste of time for me gotta love how clever the person behind this book thinks we are tho
