i mean charlie the wonderdog sounds like every other superhero movie but what makes it so special? its just another animated flick with aliens and superpowers. and whats with the whole family film thing? cant they just make a movie for kids or adults or something? this is just gonna be some watered down mess trying to appeal to everyone 
. Can't we get some original ideas for once? I mean, aliens abduct a dog, give him superpowers... it's like every other superhero origin story out there. And don't even get me started on the voice cast - Owen Wilson as a lovable family dog? It just feels so generic 
. I'm sure it'll be fine, though, and families will eat it up (pun intended). But honestly, can we have something a little more... edgy?
