So I'm thinking, Laurent Tourondel going from seafood to pizza is a pretty big deal


. I mean, he's got the Michelin star under his belt already and now he's taking on Philly's pizza scene? That's some next-level stuff right there!
I'm also loving that he's bringing an authentic Italian experience to Northern Liberties. Wood-fired pies with premium ingredients? Sign me up


. And don't even get me started on the wine list โ small-production Italian wines, yeah please!
Tourondel's got some big shoes to fill here, especially since he's building off his previous successes in Sag Harbor and Miami. But if anyone can pull it off, it's this guy. His team is looking solid too, with Georgeann Leaming at the helm โ seasoned vet and all that jazz.
What I'm most curious about is how Scusi Pizza will fit into Philly's pizza landscape. We've got some amazing spots already, but who knows? Maybe Laurent Tourondel's gonna shake things up and bring a whole new level of flavor to the table

. One thing's for sure โ this guy's not messing around, and I'm here for it!
