Still kinda weird that they're giving so much away after just one location opening though. I mean, can't help but wonder if this is more about PR than anything else... 
They're always popping up new locations, it's crazy how fast they're expanding. And yay for the charitable donations, that's awesome of them to give back to the community. 110 jobs is also super cool, it's about time we see some growth in the city. I've been wanting to try this new location for ages, can't wait to sink my teeth into one of their famous waffle fries 
I mean, I know some people love Chick-fil-A but it just seems like they're taking over everything! And now they're gonna be all over downtown Detroit too... it's like they're trying to suffocate the unique vibe of that place. What about our local restaurants and food trucks? 
Are we just gonna get lost in a sea of plastic cups and bland chicken sandwiches?! 
And don't even get me started on the charitable donations, I mean come on, $50k is just a drop in the bucket compared to what these organizations need. Can't they just hire more staff at the Breithaupt Career Center instead?

. And don't even get me started on the fact that this new location is going to employ 110 people... where are all those jobs? Are they even living wage or just another corporate cash grab
