Ugh this is just so frustrating
I mean what even is the point of having a consumer protection agency if they're not gonna crack down on companies like Clorox? Like, who lets bacterial contamination risk go unreported for years?!
It's not just about them being sloppy or whatever it is they said in their defense. The real question is, how many people were put at risk because of this company's negligence?! Did they know the product was contaminated and chose to do nothing? I don't think so 
I'm just fed up with companies trying to sweep their mistakes under the rug instead of taking responsibility for it
14 million dollars isn't even that much considering how many lives could have been saved if this had happened sooner
. And what's the plan now? Are they gonna actually enforce these compliance controls and make sure Clorox is keeping its word?! Only time will tell
