I don't think 30 days is enough time to get the truth out when there's been a violent incident... 
Like, what if someone gets shot? You gotta know what happened right away so we can figure out how to fix it next time. The fact that they're not gonna make some videos public at all is just weird... like, shouldn't we be able to see what the cops did? They say they'll only edit out people's faces, but I think that's just a way of hiding stuff from us. 
And then they have these special exemptions for police union contracts and joint task forces... it's like they're trying to protect them no matter what.
